Patricia Blanco's Online Review Report Card

I have been with Dr. Blanco's office for almost 4 years. Since she has joined with John Hopkins I have had nothing but a terrible experience. It takes forever to get an appointment. It's nothing like the family environment we are used to from her last office. Your treated like a number. The lady on the phone was so rude! I am sick over the fact that they will NOT let you choose to separate your children's shots. I feel it's my RIGHT to get 1-2 vaccines at a time. I'm not saying not to fully vaccinate. I just don't believe a tiny body needs ALL those shots at once. Needless to say I told the last on the phone I will be finding another doctor and her response was ok. Oh and even if I did stay and I'm NOT the closest appointment is 2 months out. That was only 1 appointment. I have 3 kids. So it would be spring before they could all be seen. Just ridiculous 😡

Dr. Blanco is absolutely wonderful! My friend recommended me to her 7 years ago and although the office is further away and harder for me to get to, I would not change her as my boys' Doctor. She is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. You will love her!

I LOVE Dr Blanco but since she has joined forces with John Hopkins I have had nothing but a terrible experience. Today was the last straw I called to get a sick for my child with a high grade fever for 3 days only to be told I had to wait 7- yes 7 whole days to get a sick appointment. Needless to say my children are also behind on their check ups because their appointments are booked out until mid December. If you have children and want them to actually be able to SEE the doctor then this isn't the place. 7 days for a child who is sick is unacceptable, what's the point of having a pediatrician if you can't see them!

Worst office to deal with! Would never recommend going there. The doctor is nice but her staff is absolutely awful especially the front desk. The office is unorganized and unprofessional. When i called to get my sick child in I was told there was no openings for 3 days. What kind of a joke of a place makes and infant with a high fever wait 3 days!! What gets me really mad is when I had a scheduled well visit we were asked to reschedule to get a sick child in...if course I would never say no. It was just unfortunate that when my child needed care they could careless and basically told me oh well. If you are deciding to go here or not I would highly recommend not to. They focus on Medicaid kids and put them before actual paying patients. Worst office ever!!!

I have been seeing Doctor Blanco since I was 8 years old I am now 29 with two children and I would not Ever recommend any other Pediatrics Doctor!! and the staff is so welcoming #1MDPEDI

So many parents recommended Dr. Blanco and now we are happy to be her patient! We've seen Dr. Skidmore too and she's amazing. I have 2 special needs children and wow do they do a great job at listening and helping us through it all. Thank you so much for being there for our family. You've made a drastic improvement well beyond what we have ever experienced.

I have been going to university pediatrics since my son was born if you are going to pick a doctor there pick Viki Skidmore she actually went out of her way a bunch of times to make sure my son got the proper medical treatment. He had horrible breathing issues at only a few months old Dr.blanco didn't do crap about it so I switched to Vikki and she immediately got help found out he had asthma. Shes just an amazing doctor funny and caring. Please PLEASE don't bring your kids to blanco she's rude and doesn't help !

I have been taking my child to University Pediatrics for several years ! The receptionists, nurses and doctor have always treated me and my child with kindness. Whenever I need a referral sent to them they are quick and efficient and do it that same day! I have a medically complex child who has profound special needs and they always go above and beyond to always make sure my child is well accommodated. Dr. Blanco completely takes her time to listen and is assertive in treating any problem. I wouldn't take my child any where else! I absolutely love this practice ! :)

I have been with this practice since 2003 and I trust every Doctor and Nurse Practitioner in this office. I have seen Dr. Blanco stay until 8pm just to make sure every sick child is attended to. I have four children and she has taken care of everyone of them, and I have one with a chronic disease. I would highly recommend Dr. Blanco, Dr. Skidmore or Nurse Jo to anyone.

great doctor poor service. If my child is sick I can not get in for several days.
