List of Reuben Holland Md's Reviews
Husband was treat by Dr. Holland at SMH. Initially went to Urgent care and they sent him to ER with a list or test to run. Dr. Holland toldRN that if blood work came back normal send him home. We went in with severe pain and left in pain with none of the tests run. Gave a lame diagnoses. Spent 5 hrs there. Even RN was concerned about Dr. If you end up with him in the ER run the other way.
A dishonest, incompetent, ill informed medical buffoon. He has no business treating patients. Irresponsible and unethical. Arrogant, condescending, over charges and defends disreputable drs under his charge.
I know him to have great compassion and a desire to listen and get to the problem.
Dr.R Holland is an outstanding, knowledgeable, compassionate and trustworthy physician. I am from seven generations of physicians and I felt so lucky to have him treating me. We don't get to pick our doctor when in emergency but if we could I would ask for him hands down. Holly Breidenbach
Reuben Holland is a loser that was accused of over billing Medicare. After talking to him I believe it. He is all about the $$$!!! His famous quote is "The way to keep your job and the boys happy is to keep the money coming in" His Fast track ER is so fast they take you $$$ and send you home as fast as they can!!!
My mother was taken to the hospital by myself after complaining of heart attack symptoms. She had very extensive medical history and was was very sick for 15 years. They signed off in an abnormal ecg and sent her home rather than keeping her for observation. She died the next day!
Dr. Holland is an extremely sensitive, caring, well informed doctor about medical knowledge. He has the ability to be an excellent listener, and order appropriate medical tests, and he treated me as well as if I had been a member of his family. He makes outstanding recommendations and does not over medicate his patients. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I received the top of the line care under his supervision.
Poor bedside manner, basically insinuated that I came to the ER for pain medication
After an ER doctor at SMH mis-diagnosed my 2-yr-old daughter's 24-hour stomach virus as a urinary tract infection, prescribed nearly $700 in medication that our experienced pharmacist *thankfully* talked us out of filling, and then presented us with a whopping bill for this "treatment," Dr Holland responded to my complaint; he's evidently head of the ER. He sided with his doctor, saying that the UTI test (botched by the nurse--a whole different sorry situation) initially showed "some signs of a positive reading" although it was negative the next day. Wow. I'm not a doctor, but would "some signs of a positive reading" be akin to being "a little bit pregnant"...? Do cultures in fact flip flop from "kind of" positive to negative over night like this? If so, is it not common practice to advise the patient at some point of the changed results and that the $700 in medication isn't necessary to administer to a 2-year-old? Dr Holland elected to ignore my second correspondence where I asked these questions. Very unimpressed that he would cover for his doctor in this situation; quite scary. Proceed with caution.
Everyone wants a physician that is real smart, very good at what they do and yet, a regular person who cares. Don't meet a lot of them nowadays but this guy fits the bill. Dr. Reuben Holland should feel good about himself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
