It took so long to schedule tests, I finally said something. I was then FIRED from the office by the office manager. This was devastating, so I wrote a letter to administrator in charge. I never heard anything back. I'm really surprised they let someone working in the office do something like that. It should be very concerning. It should be very concerning that the Administrator can't be bothered to simply write a letter, explaining the reason why you, the patient, were fired. Maybe they don't care about these things. When I said something about the length it was taking to get the test I needed, the med tech agreed! I also wasn't rude or mean in any way. Which must mean, it's personal... After all, Sarasota is a small medical community. And I am an RN.
Terrible. He did not listen to us and did not explain himself well. Very abrupt. Difficult to understand and unprofessional when questioned. Kept changing his diagnosis. Very disappointed. We left and sought treatment elsewhere.
My first visit with Dr G. He put me at ease and is very kind and understanding.
I like doctor Gonzales. He listens to what I have to say. I had an appointment today where he immediately went to his resources to help me out. Because I'm on disability I cannot afford to pay hundreds a month on one medication so he put an immediate call into somebody who maybe can help me. I call that concern for the patient.
Very bad office personnel from a patient’s perspective. He is knowledgeable However he speaks to fast . He listens to me but at times I feel he in a rush.
Dr.Gonzalez is wonderful. He’s very knowledgeable, spent time with me going over everything. Happy to have found him! Front office staff was friendly and they took me in for my appointment on time. Highly recommend!
Horrible service. We waited over an hour before we saw the doctor on the first visit. We waited one hour and 45 minutes the second visit (the doctor wasn't even there at the appointment time and the staff never bothered to let anyone know). On the third visit it was an hour before they told us we were next. We asked how long it would be and they said at least another half hour, so we left. Don't waste your time.
First visit with a problem no one else seemed to have an answer for. He was thorough and appears to be trying to get to the reason for the concern I have. That’s all you can ask for. Pleasant bedside manner too.
Saw Dr.Gonzalez was bleeding when I urinating was told I had possible bladder Cancer treated for it but it was a kidney stone ebbed in the bladder wall . Was given duetiride a chemical castration med. For a problem I didn't have. Did kidney stone removal put in a stint water two weeks did other side put in another stint, left in one he had put in earlier so for a month I urinated through to equivalent to coffee stairs . Now I'm empiant no seaman all thanks to Dr. Gonzalez and make it more he sent me a letter saying there is a breakdown. In our physician-patient relationship wow because I missed a follow up. This man cares for money not the people he is supposed to take care of Hippocratic oath means nothing to him. Be were he does good but also does bad
I took my 76 yo cousin to Dr G with concerns about Alzheimer’s. The first visit was sorta ok. He requested an MRI and some blood work. We did that. Next visit, he began to explain the issues were a result of some medical issues in the past. When challenged, he was adamant…”it’s right there!” Turns out he was looking at the wrong medical history. Business manager later apologized. When my cousin was subsequently admitted to the hospital, I suggested Dr G be invited to check on her. He never came. A colleague showed up and said he didn’t know my cousins history on Alzheimer’s! Avoid this guy. Avoid the entire clinic. I’m looking for another reputable neurologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
