Doctor Lyn Shue and all the staff at Sarasota Arthritis Center are professionals in every waytaking the time to listen explain and come up with medication therapy or whatever it takes to assist in mitigating your issues. Thank you all for your kindness and understanding from the moment you walk through the door.

Dr Lynn Shue is the most straight forward and knowledgable specialist I have. and have 4 and a GP.  She explained her protocol in terms I could understand ordered tests that revealed that the issues I have were actually out of her specialty.  However my liver nimbrrs were thru the roof by a factor 20 and she sent me to a gastroenterologist immediately whom removed 4 drugs I had been taking. some of which were 15 or more years.  Thank you Dr. Kimberly LynnShue

Ive been a patient of the Sarasota Arthritis Center since I developed RA a few years ago. I have been seeing Dr Manohar and she is the best. I have several kinds of arthritis and other issues and she works with me to find the best medications exercises and other treatment to keep me going. The staff is excellent too thoughtful kind and efficient.

After moving to the Punta Gorda in the last year I found myself struggling to find a really qualified rheumatologist that I felt comfortable with and that took my insurance plan. In researching the Sarasota Arthritis Center I was impressed by the credentials of all the specialists on staff with this practice. It was difficult to determine which provider would probably best treat me since that all came so highly qualified so after phoning the office I took the first available at the closest office to Punta Gorda. I was treated politely and professionally by the employee on the phone and they provided me with all the information I needed to ensure my first appointment would go well I had medical records from another state to get transferred in before the first visit and it all went seemlessly. Since my initial visit I have been at both the Englewood and Venice locations. The staff are always very polite and thorough. Both locations are easy to access very helpful for me since I use a walker. Their patient portal is not difficult to navigate through and they send appointment reminders as well. Dr Huguenin was the specialist I chose from their group. She is very compassionate to my struggles with dealing with arthritis challenges listens to my questions and genuinely cares. I also appreciate that even though she takes time when she is in the room with me has never rushed me to move along to the next patient  I have not found them to be running behind which indicates their schedulers are skilled in juggling appointments. The checkin process is also quite easy. Upon entering the office there is a kiosk to scan your insurance cards and take your copay keeping the front desk clear of a long line. It takes me an hour to drive to either location from where I live but as far as I am concerned you cannot put drive time ahead of quality treatment. I will definitely continue  to make the extra trip to ensure my best interest and health is in the right hands.

I have been the patient of Dr. Cindi Johnson for several years.  I originally was referred by my dermatologist for treatment for Psoriatic Arthritis but I also have osteoporosis.  I appreciate Dr. Johnsons thorough care because I need to have someone who can order tests and review my results to manage these factors that affect my ability be independent.  Over the last 15 years there was only Celebrex and joint replacement of 2 knees a hip and soon to be a shoulder.  These had been because of Psoriatic Arthritis which contributed to the degradation of my joints.  None of my doctors suggested Psoriatic Arthritis after my double knee surgery 2006 or after my hip surgery 2009.   I was told there was no test for PA.  I hope treatment with the new medications that are available now and monitoring will help me  to avoid surgery for further joint damage and pain.  She is very thorough and I feel fortunate to have been referred to her to help me on these issues.

I was very pleased with My experience at the Englewood Arthritis Center.  The staff were friendly and very helpful.  Dr Ikeman was thorough with his examination.  His explanation of my condition was clear and concise.  He gave me treatment options and I was not pressured to have them. I definitely would recommen this practice.

The Physicians and staff are wonderful They care about helping you get to a place where you are whole. I never felt rushed during my visits. Dr Boodoo took his time and listened to all my concerns and acted accordingly. Im very grateful to be heard.

I am so grateful for Sarasota Arthritis Center.  They have helped me more than I could have hoped for and all with lovely staff and Dr H is awesome.

I highly recommend Dr. Cindy Johnston. She has the perfect balance of being kind and firm with decisions and helping me understand the how and why. As far as the center itself it is clean and all of the staff treat everyone with respect. I have seen them be so helpful with the elderly or physically challenged. It would be how I would want my loved ones to be treated. I have been going there for sixteen months.

There is always a reason for good and bad however when it comes to our well being and doctor care there has to be a DARN GOOD reason. I never write reviews but I am making an exception this time as I could not believe the review from John M. re Dr.Lyn Shue. SHE SAVED MY LIFE. I had been to my primary Dr. SMH walk in clinic each one treated me for a cold each one gave me a Z pack whatever I had persisted this went on for 5 months. I was well and I was ill nothing lasted. Finally my husband and children took control and called my primary and told her that she belongs in the hospital and wo seeing me she made the arrangements for the next morning admittance. SMH put me on oxygen and tubes pipes coming out from all over immediately started all kinds of tests. I looked like death warmed over. A Dr. from infectious disease was called in never been treated by him before but knew him as a customer in my business life. After friendly greetings he said I believe I know what you have You do not have what they were treating you for however I will not be sure until I see all of the results from the blood tests and cultures. The next day his PA told me I had viral pneumonia polymiositis. Never heard of it and was scared just hearing about it. After a week in SMH and a week in their rehab pavilion I was released and somehow I was directed to Dr.Lyn Shue at the Arthritis Center. I have never met such a warm bright caring doctor as she. She took charge completely. What I left out that this disease left me paralyzed from the waist down and I could not lift my arms higher than straight out. I wont go into all that I went through but I was informed by others medical people that I might never be able to walk again and I may end up bed ridden. Also it would be to long for me to write all of the treatments that Dr Lyn Shue ordered I will write that for many months thankful for our long term care insurance I had a caretaker 7 nights and as many days as we could afford that were not covered. I am now walking with a walker and can do some things myself but it was THIS doctor that prescribed a infusion every month 3 straight days 4 hours each day. BUT I CAN WALK My s are better and my VERY CARING WARM GRACIOUS DOCTOR was by my beck and call all throughout this horrendous period and STILL IS. I will be 90 this year and I would give Dr. Lyn Shue on a scale of 110 a 100. Bev B.
