Downside: Very Busy Practice. Sometimes the doctors end up handling an unexpected emergency since they allow walk ins, so you may have to wait a few minutes past your appointment time for your child to be seen. Upside: This is a very caring practice. Everyone works together as a team!! You cannot put a price on their combined knowledge and expertise. I think sometimes we forget that these people are human beings too. They have bad days, just like we parents do. I like to leave the practicing of medicine to the staff here at the Children's Clinic and allow them to do their jobs. The office manager, Trish, retired a few years ago after 30 years, and the NP, Lisa, has been there like 25 years! Employee longevity speaks volumes! Great practice - they will take excellent care of your child.

First time experience with Sarasota Chrildren's Clinic. From receptionist and throughout my granddaughter's follow-up appointment, I was very impressed with the facility, and moreover, nursing staff and doctor.

Would definitely rate 0 stars if I could. Stay away from this clinic! We will not be coming back after my son’s 18 mo wellness check: Dr. Fleener was unprofessional (didn’t even close the door during our visit, huge HIPAA violation in itself), tried to instill fear & make us feel ashamed for our parenting choices, and talked in a condescending tone to us and over us. It’s disappointing considering we loved her daughter during our son’s 1st visit a couple months back, but will not be returning. Unfortunately, we should’ve looked at the reviews prior to choosing this clinic (most of them echo our complaints, big yikes) but trusted our family friend who referred her practice to us…

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Carola is a professional who shows all her years of experience. She listened to all of our concerns about our son, and immediately took action on them. I feel that my son's health is in the best hands.
