Would never go back!! The receptionist was nice and the lady I spoke with about my bad experience was nice, but the PA Jaime has much to learn still about how to respect people. Jaime if you’re reading this IM STILL SICK WITH THIS NASTY COLD!! IM COUGHING NOW!! DO YOU FINALLY BELIEVE ME THAT I HAVE A URI/LRI??? I WAS NOT HAVING A HEART ATTACK!! I DIDN’T NEED A UNNECESSARY EXPENSIVE TEST!! WHAT I NEED IS A PRESCRIPTION FOR THIS NASTY BUG!! NOW THOUGH AFTER MY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE WITH YOU I DON’T EVEN WANNA SEE ANYONE BECAUSE I’M SO OVER THIS JOKE OF A HEALTHCARE SYSTEM BECAUSE OF PROFESSIONALS LIKE YOU THAT DON’T TREAT PATIENTS WITH THE RESPECT AND TIME THAT THEY DESERVE AND PAY FOR!!! UNDERSTAND NO MEANS NO!! LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS WITH COMPASSION AND EMPATHY!!

Positive: short wait. Often I walk right in & the longest I’ve waited is maybe 15 minutes.Negative: some of the staff haven’t been polite & have had little bed side manners. They’ve been short & sometimes not helpful. This has not felt supportive or caring.

Fractured my calcaneus and couldn’t walk. Called to ask if they could bring a wheelchair out to me. I was told they were busy and would bring one out as soon as they could. I waited in the car for over 20 minutes in pain, no one every came out.Left and went to Stickney point location. they were great and will get 5 stars.

Excellent and timely response to my ailment.

I do not have a primary care doctor as it has been impossible to find one since I’ve moved here in May. I arrived at this urgent care one evening because I had ongoing back pain and sore muscles in my arms. The night prior I was feeling fatigue and possible chills as I felt like I had to wear a sweatshirt in my own house. I was worried about some type of infection specifically a uti. I explained to the receptionist I was worried about a uti and I would like to be seen. The service was very polite and professional. She gave me my the urine cup and told me we would get the sample right away to help expedite things. Then I went back to the room.The nurse came in took vitals asked about family history. All normal procedure. The doctor then comes in saying have a low grade fever therefore I must have some type of infection but definitely not a UTI do I suspect or know my husband has had multiple partners and gave me an std. No I do not suspect that and I understand he has seen things like that before so I’m not exactly offended but feeling like that’s a waste of time to even go down that road why would we go there..Then I explain my symptoms further telling him about some digestive issues I’ve had as well making things a little confusing as I understand but I was trying to make sense of it all… he rebutted with you sound just like a lot of people who come in saying they think they have a uti and it turns out to be Covid I think we should test. Also saying however I know you have a history of asthma but you aren’t showing any respiratory issues.. still going to test me for covid and 2 stds all of which were negative btw. There was no reasoning with the man. What would he have to say for himself now? An entire waste of time for me & worry for me family for no reason. However not surprised..I’m am disturbed that many of us have had our minds poisoned thinking everything is the result of a contagious disease.

I came to smh urgent care because I was experiencing some back pain. The doctors and nurses in the back did an amazing job taking care of me and working as fast as they could to help. But I was very disappointed by how the front staff talked to the patients that entered the waiting room. I understand these are covid times and it can be overwhelming to have a lot of people in the waiting room but that is no excuse to treat people this way. At one point a elderly man came in to ask for directions and one of the lady’s immediately yelled at him and told him to take a number and wouldn’t let him explain he needed directions and then when she finally listened she completely embarrassed him on the phone and continued to talk to him like he was stupid. If I was management I would be completely embarrassed. If it was their grandparents I am positive they wouldn’t talk to them like that.

This place was very busy but the staff handled it very effectively!

My visit was quick, from the person who greeted me to the physician, were kind, courteous, and sympathetic. I had great care! Thank SMH at Bee Ridge!
