Wonderful urgent care for those on LBK or close by. Feels like a real hospital setting rather than a typical Urgent care clinic in a strip mall. Professional staff. Part of the SMH system so I knew it would be top notch and it was. Hope I don't need it again, but glad to know they are there.

Clean, convenient and the check in process was fairly expedient. However, I didn't get to see an actual doctor and the PA assigned to me seemed rushed and dismissive. She also incorrectly answered some questions I had about side effects of a proposed treatment and never even examined me. I had a minor problem, but I still expected better care than I got.

I could not have been more please with my visit. I walked in with the paperwork filled out. There was not any wait time. The nurse and Dr. who treated me were professional, competent, kind and caring.

I landed from NJ in Sarasota on 5/13. I was feeling ill, chills, fever and stomach pains. I arrived at my destination in Lido Beach and a family member immediately took me to SMH urgent care ST Armands. I was told at check in I had no fever (I did) then I was also told they wouldn’t accept my insurance. My insurance covers out of state. I paid $150, for poor care because a few hours later I was in the emergency room. I spent 10 hours there, high fevers, severe dehydration and stomach infection. Do not see the PA or Nurse there, request a doctor.

I have ALWAYS found the SMH Urgent Care Center at St. Armands tobe efficient, competent, and oh so convenient. Any other visit wouldhave warranted a 5 star + rating. However, this time I believe I hada trainee or neophyte taking my blood for lab work. Three needlepositions in the left arm and an unsuccessful try in the right justifiably resulted in the request for a nurse.. It was very simple for her. The first person tried hard, was very courteous, and as professional as possible.But I hope I don't have to repeat my experience for my next blood draw.

Went there tonight, and was greeted with 'leave your mask on' because I was adjusting it due to the bottom folding under. Then my husband was told he had to wait in car, I explained that I had a hearing impairment and needed him to go back. She refused. Seriously?! Had to go somewhere else. I wish I would nvr have wasted my time coming here. We drove down to AFC and they were amazing! Nvr gave us grief about husband going back with me and were very knowledgeable and friendly.
