I hope I never have to set foot in this place run by cowards. SHAME ON YOU FOR FORCING PEOPLE TO GET A USELESS JAB. SHAME ON YOU FOR PUTTING MONEY BEFORE INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS.
I was born here about 20 years ago. I can say that the process was a 4/10 at best. Despite the fact that I regret being born I guess the doctors were pretty kind to me.
Had to have emergency care a the new facility on laurel rd. Service , work ethic , techs, nurses, doctors all great at their jobs an passionate about what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if needed
Close to my location and great service
On 11.16.21 I had an appointment at the SMH Heart Failure Center, having been referred there by my cardiologist, Dr. Colleen Healy. There, my wife, Barbara, and I met with Andrew Azadian, ARNP-C, for a 2-hour Learn-In/Q&A session that was, without a doubt, the most comprehensive, informative, over-the-top medical session in which either of us had ever participated. We learned that the Center’s goal would be to provide me with evidence-based education and in-depth information on heart failure, understanding that knowledge and increased awareness are the keys to improving my heart-failure management. I surmised that the program’s essence is the implementation of self-improvement strategies that will increase quality, and length, of life, outcomes with which I’m enamored. The likelihoods Andrew so lucidly discussed to improve my cardiac health were, figuratively, heart-stopping. It appears that SMH is setting, not just keeping, standards … congrats!Martin Kasper
I came in for abdominal pain, vomiting, blurring vision, and passing out. I was there for 5 and a half hours was given pain meds and nausea meds. I informed them my GI doctor told me to come in she’s concerned with my gallbladder. No ultra sound done then did to an mri scan but sent me on my way with nausea meds and discharge paperwork states “unknown abdominal pain”. Also my first doctor that came in couldn’t even remember something as simple as mt regular doctors name after telling him 5 times he still came back saying the wrong name. Shortly after a second doctor (2 hours later) came in and had me legit repeat everything. I just don’t understand how you can go to a HOSPITAL genuinely needed help and just being brushed off and still leave in pain and have NO answers at all.Don’t get me wrong the staff was amazing nurse wise but other than that there’s nothing else that makes me want to return
The hospital staff was fantastic from registration to discharge.
Having lived with difficult veins resulting in painful blood draws through the years, finding the team at Waldemere Lab. has been a relief. Of course I have a favorite, however, each and everyone of phlebotomists gentle, sensitive to patient. In my experience results get to doctor's offices within 2 days if not against a week end. Another plus, as waiting to hear can take a toll.
I was shocked not to see a 5-star rating for SMH. To be fair, Covid made it excruciatingly hard for hospitals and families so I will assume that played a role. This review is for today, as Covid is beginning to abate and I rate SMH 5-Stars. With someone very important to me there now, I could have never imagined a better experience if you have the misfortune of needing to go to an ER with a broken hip on a Saturday and then having chest pain (no heart attack thank goodness) after the surgery. The staff took absolutely amazing care. Amazing. Deeply caring, personal care - every person. And the facilities are also outstanding. The ER is what you would expect from a look and feel perspective but the staff was cracker-jack while still being so sweet given what they see and have to deal with everyday. The orthopedic and cardiac units were filled with private rooms, which we got only because (again, thank goodness) the hospital is fairly empty right now. A blessing for so many reasons. Less sick people and a break for the doctors, nurses, assistants, techs, food preparers, janitorial staff and volunteers - giving them some room to breathe. There are also very comfortable waiting rooms and outdoor areas to clear your head (and take off your mask for a minute or two). I hope my five stars helps to pull up the star rating as under 4 is just completely wrong. Thank you SMH. While we hope to leave soon, we appreciate the care we have received while we were there. + thanks for handling my loved ones sense of humor. Oh boy!
This hospital's Surgical Services Staff is amazing. Dr. Daryl Miller is such a talented and knowledgeable Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Douglas R Greene is an outstanding Anesthesiologist in his technique and patient care. From the Front Desk Check-In to Mita in Recovery, every staff member truly takes pride in delivering quality medical care to the patients. I will not go anywhere else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
