Fantastic cardiac care. As far as I'm concerned I have very high confidence in this hospital and the staff. I was there for invasive cardiac procedure and these folks were aces. I want to stay away from hospitals, but It gives me a lot of confidence in a positive outcome in any future care.

Had total keen replacement 2 weeks ago. Could not have been a better expirience!!! While i was only there 1 night, from the moment i walked in the door the hospital was great. All staff (from the lady that prepped my leg to the doctors to the nurses as well as the food service/meal quality) were wonderful. Everything was explained to me. The place is clean and very organized and has upgraded systems/technology. They also have a person at each hallway corner to help direct you. Definitely a big plus considering how large the facility has become as well as the avg age of the patient. I could ramble on but i think you get the picture. You ould not be disappointed going here.

I wish there were more stars I could give them. The staff and doctors are fantastic!!After a out patient procedure as they are escorting you out to the FREE valet parking, they stop by a small lounge to offer you snacks, coffee, sandwiches etc.I cannot say enough about the volunteers, they have over 600 that are very nice and courteous.

I stayed here when I had emergency gallbladder surgery. I was so terrified because I just recently moved from Texas. None of my family was here for me, but every staff member was wonderful. I have a service dog and they treated him in a very respectful manner and I can’t express how much I appreciate that. He was allowed to stay with me in my room overnight and it made a world of difference. I had the most excellent, attentive nurses. Communication was great, the anesthesiologist listened to my concerns and made sure I’d be alright. Dr. Fiorucci was so nice! Anatoly And Kirstin were some of the best nurses I’ve ever had. I can’t reccomend this hospital enough and I am very grateful to have stayed here. I was discharged from doctor’s hospital twice and told to go home, I could have died but SMH admitted me and had me in surgery in less than 24 hours. The OR team was so nice and comforting and made sure to take great care of me. Thank you all so much and the wonderful teams of doctors, nurses, OR staff and everyone else that made me feel very safe and taken care of.

Huge shout out to the Endoscopy Department! They are the BEST. They made a very dreadful procedure pleasant and comfortable. Brian, Tamara, Alex, Chelsea, Merka and Kathy were awesome as well as Doctors Kuperman and Salinas. Could not be more happy with the care I received there! Thank you ALL!!!!!

Upscale facility that caters to the needs of its patients. Excited about the new facilities that will be opening in south Sarasota county in the coming years; will be a great addition to this flagship location. Go SMH Go !!! we’re rooting for you......

I love this ER.  We were in, treated and back out in under 3 hours.  Every visit we have ever had has been just as quick and easy.  I suggest them to everyone I know!  Great staff of Dr.'s and Nurses!

I was brought in on the 24th of August this year. I arrived with a broken back and neck. I was put in the ICU and stayed there for 2 days then I was brought to the Trauma Unit for 2 more days. It was the best experience I've ever had in a hospital   The professional and caring of the staff was outstanding. I would like to take the time to thank all of the dr.s, nurses and others for making my scary experience much more comfortable and hopeful. I would especially like to give a special thanks to the following personal for making my stay nice. Torie Childs, Diana Rist, Heather Zayrodnik, Ashley Ortiz-Ciaro, Brian Adam, Eduardo, Danelle DaviDanelle Higham and James Nunn. I went to Sarasota Memorial for an endoscopy, including insertion of a micro-capsule for a Bravo PH test.  The whole experience was outstanding.   Everyone I met was upbeat, using humor when possible to lighten the mood, and the care I received was superb.  This was my second time visiting Sarasota Memorial, and it confirmed what I found the first time - this is a first rate establishment with wonderful staff.   Well done, everyone!!

We had our first baby boy here 2 years ago. Now, going for or second baby girl in a couple of months. Well, let me tell you this is one of the most comprehensive hospital in Florida. The nursing is amazing. The parking is so convenient making easy to go out to grab some food and come back. Parking never was an issue. Suzanne is one of the nurses. She is the sweetest and most knowledgeable nurse I met. She is as sweet as she can be. I don't recall the names of other nurses, but they were all very kind and helpful. Our doctor conveniently has his practice across the street and he always was there first thing in the morning to check how everything was going. We had a smooth and complication free intervention. I wanted to say thank you to the hospital to find such a competent, caring, and  kind group of professional.
