I came in to verify I had thoracic outlet syndrome and to get a surgery cost estimate for my car accident case. I told Dr Silverman I needed this estimate when I first met him. Upon the first visit he ran tests and confirmed I had TOS. He then told me to come back and get 2 more tests and a CT scan at the hospital. They wouldn’t allow me to do the tests on the same day, I’m guessing, so they could bill for multiple visits. So I had to come to his office 4 times in total: The initial visit, the first pressure test (the lady had no idea what she was doing and had to keep asking the other lady what the positions are and how to work the machine. The other lady was trying to finish paperwork and was irritated she had to keep helping, so i ended up just receiving poor treatment as she didn’t even test my arms in the correct positions), the ultrasound test and the final visit. Plus an expensive CT scan which on the 4th visit he told me was useless as they also didn’t test the correct position. I am still unsure if this was the hospitals fault or dr Silberman’s fault as his own team member didn’t test the right positions during their tests either. Long story short after the 4 visits and the hospital CT scan, I was told he couldn’t give me a surgery cost estimate and he doesn’t do this type of surgery any more. He then said if I need a estimate he would have to refer me to someone else. I find it hard to believe he didn’t know he couldn’t help me on the first visit when I told him I needed a cost estimate. Seems like that would have been a great time to tell me he can’t provide the service I needed. (surgery nor the cost estimate) but rather, he had me come back 4 times so he could charge me and make $. So now I still don’t have what I need and I’ve paid a lot of money for nothing. If you are reading this, find a different Doctor.

Pretty cut and dry Dr. He's there to help you not make small talk. Outstanding Nurse who was extremely caring and helpful! Squeezed us in for an Emergency visit.

I won't mention the name of another doctor that did a Cather insertion into my heart and almost killed me - I could have bled to death after being discharged from the hospital [Who also should be held accountable for malfeasance] discharging a patient that is real in trouble My cardiologist called Dr Silverman to the rescue - Dr Silverman's staff, of course himself, the million dollar suite in Doctors Hospital and his after treatment staff, This doctor I fear is the first responder to other medical screw ups - What a life saver, and which of your doctors calls you personally twice after treatment?? - And his office staff brought me in twice to JUST MAKE SURE, I was OK - There is not much more to say about Dr. Silverman, PERFECT PROFESSIONAL - Thank you so much!

Dr. Silverman is a gifted clinical specialist who has provided me with exemplary vascular care since my 2018 incidental imaging study finding of bilateral iliac artery aneurysms. He is assisted by a friendly, efficient and accommodating office staff and well-trained technicians in an atmosphere characterized by seamless teamwork.
