I took my husband to the ER in Arcadia due to vomiting & dehydration. He had been in the hospital for 2 1/2 days a few days prior but now sick again. Dr. Vasile was on weekend call. She was sharp-tongued and demeaning. She asked why my husband was there. I started to state the diagnoses on his last hospital discharge, she barked at me. "You're not impressing me." I stated that I was not trying to impress you. I'm trying to catch you up." Unnecessary rudeness! She is knowledgeable.

Brilliant and compassionate. Knows her way around way too many diseases probably but that's what makes a great hospitalist. I'm complicated and she is the one to ask for if you enter a Sarasota Hospital. There is none better.

Horrible Doctor very rude to staff and patients treats you like you are stupid. If you have any kind of questions she acts like you are bothering her. I would not recommend her ever! If you get stuck with her as a Doctor fire her she is horrible. She is a miserable person!

Dr Vasile met w my mother at Sarasota Memorial prior to her discharge. She was dismissive, rude and didn't answer any of our questions about the new drug my mother was being prescribed. She made it clear we were not a priority or a concern.

I had an appalling experience with Dr Vasile. I was given medication that caused serious side effects. She was traveling and never called or checked for almost a month. Her staff did not know how to handle the situation. It took requring emergency surgery to get her attention and a referral to a surgeon.
