Dr McCarren has been my Primary Doctor since 2006 when I was Diagnosed with a severe liver disorder. She saw me through many hospital stays worked closely with my Gastroenterologist SMH and Tampa General through many issues which resulted in an organ transplant in 2010. She continues to be my primary Physician and I find her very knowledgeable thorough and a Doctor who takes time to listen to her patients.

Dr. McCarren was my doctor when I was in FL. She also was my Mom’s. She is a great doctor. Listens caring and knowledgeable. I wish I could still see her but have left the area.

This doctor could not diagnose major illness over period of a year even with serious symptoms and blood work reflective of the disease. Diagnosed by ER with visit for one of the symptoms but after major damage was done from her neglect. She treated me like I was fabricating my illness. Would not recommend anyone to her.

Dr McCarren is both professional and personable in her manner. Although her office seems like a very busy place I never feel rushed by her. She addresses all problems issues and concerns with careful consideration of all the factors involved. As an RN I am interested in the rationale behind her decisions and she always communicates it clearly. That gives me a lot of confidence in her.

She missed thyroid disease with borderline blood work and severe symptoms. ER visit from symptoms revealed glands destroyed due to her failure to diagnose. Refused to recommend me to another doctor within this group. AVOID FOR HEALTH

Am incredibly fortunate to have Dr. McCarren and her Nurse Justine as my caregivers....to me they embody what health care should be. If there is any immediate concern the staff fits me in and leaves a message for Dr. McCarrens nurse if I am especially worried and need to talk to her before the apptment. There is always enough time when I am there to answer my questions reassure me etc.They make me feel as if I am their priority many friends cannot believe the high level of care

Dr. Vicki McCarren was my husbands internist until his death from cancer and has been mine for over 15 years. She is absolutely wonderfulwell informed a good listener empathic but sensible and down to earth. I have been delighted with her manner and her expertize her discernment her entertaining several possibilities and coming up with the best solution and her willingness to take the time needed to give good treatment. She refers to good specialists whenever needed. In fifteen years I have never had one complaint about her in any way. I would recommend her to anyone who would like an excellent female physician

Used this doc in 20042006 when first living here. Moved and returned in 2013 returning to a doctor who had drastically changed. I had severe health issues with fatigue pain plantar faciiatis and had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Went to her getting severely worse in spring 2014 but she had no answer. Two months later in ER test showed my thyroid glands destroyed and needed thyroid med. I called her and she reiterated my blood test did show borderline results with thyroid levels but she NEVER pursued any recourse. I fired her. NOW other Intercoastal Medical Doctors will not accept me after they contact her for transfer. This is irresponsible for a medical practice if they care about putting patients first. What about their oath do no harm?
