Very nice staff!
Though I was happy with my previous Dr, I changed my healthcare plan so I had to switch doctors. I selected Dr. Suzanne Johnson on Fruitville Rd. My first visit with Dr. Johnson was in June. I was impressed with m Dr. Johnson right off as she spent over an hour with me and went over all previous records that had been forward but also requested additional information, ie. pathology reports, not relying on basic statements on my records. This week, I had an episode of vertigo and called Dr. Johnson’s office for a referral to an ENT Doctor to have a procedure to resolve the vertigo. Her office advised that Dr. Johnson could do the procedure and scheduled a visit just 2 days later. I went for the procedure today and was totally blown away. Dr. Johnson not only performed the procedure but showed me exercises I could do every day to help prevent having this problem reoccur. I’ve been to ENT Dr’s twice before and was never shown these exercises. Additionally, Dr. Johnson gave me a printout showing these exercises to help me know just how to do them. I was initially skeptical about changing doctors but believe this change will truly be beneficial for me. Additionally, I had no co-pay for a specialist. Dr. Johnson is, in my opinion, excellent and is dedicated to her patients. I’m thrilled!
Compassionate, and willing to go above and beyond to help out!!! The staff is awesome as well
Very disappointing experiences during my last two visits from when I began seeing her a year ago. She came into exam room (January) and asked if I was streaming. Huh? I had no device in my hands. Instead of asking me how was my holiday, this was how my yearly exam began. She had full PPE on this time. Seems a bit paranoid about Covid. Asked me to remove my beret when she began the exam. Again, felt very weird. I was asked again if I had been vaccinated. (I had previously given my Covid vaccine cards to staff to copy for my file). She complained her internet was spotty. On my previous visit, she left the exam room for 7” to ask the tavern next door to turn down their music. Every single time I have seen her, she looks up medical information while sitting next to me and reads it to me. I can do this myself at home. She looks more at her laptop than at me which I find distracting. She seemed distracted and not happy. The entire visit was negative. She reduced an Rx without offering me any kind of safety net or suggestions/modifications to improve my symptoms. She also said she would no longer prescribe another Rx she had previously given me. The third Rx I requested to reduce pain (not anything addictive, nor an opiod), she refused. I called a few days later and asked to see two specialists. One of them, without hesitation, prescribed the medicine she refused. He realized the necessity of the Rx. She entered an incorrect diagnosis for a referral to a specialist and her office seemed unwilling to correct the mistake. She finished by saying that I needed to come in every month to replenish an Rx vs. every 3 months I had been seeing her. Feels like she’s padding her wallet. Someone else might have a better experience, but I felt such relief when I requested my medical records be sent to a compassionate and caring physician that wants to work with me as a partner in my health vs. against me.
Dr Johnson is the best physician I've ever been to. She's very caring, thorough and answers all questions without trying to rush you out of the office. I trust her completely and I'm grateful that I found her. My father is her patient, too, and he feels the same way.
Great doctor, very caring. She takes her time to listen

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
