I have seen Dr Furman twice for my right knee due to osteoarthritis. He is an ace at giving cortisone shots! He is very personable & informative. He has same day appointments which was a blessing for me. He will be honest with you that if he recommends a procedure & he is not to perform it, he will refer to another physician. I would highly recommend him to my family & friends.

Dr. Furman advises what you need to do prior to surgery, during surgery and after surgery... My knee replacement was a breeze.

The wait time, promptness, courteous staff etc. are of secondary importance. The main question is: was the surgery as successful as it should have been? In my case, the answer is: NO!. Would I send my friends to this doctor? NO!. A year of continuous pain after my hip replacement I am facing additional, corrective surgery as a result of the original one.
