List of Maury L Fisher's Reviews
Dr Fisher is an outstanding , caring orthopedic doctor. He replaced my right hip and did it in a timely manner. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. So, this was important to me. Post op recovery went extremely well, with Dr Fisher addressing any pains I experienced. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fisher
showed me why hip needed replacement, visited me before and after surgery, and gave me tips to make my walk correct. (I wanted to throw my leg out)
My visit was not good. Dr. Fisher is rude and all about himself. I would never recommend him. Dr. Fisher wasn't interested in me or my pain. He complained about his long drive how, early he had to leave everyday, where he had to go next. I left without any answers or what I need to do. I went to my primary and he sent me to a physical therapist. The pain I was having I thought was coming from my hip, was diagnosed through another Dr. that the pain was coming from the lower back. I just finished with physical and sleeping good at night again. No thanks to Dr. Fisher
This Dr. was having fun in the office while I was waiting in the room to see him. After an hour ,send his ARNP to see me. Just to tell me he will not treat me for My hand fractured. I lost my time and money in this office. Very disappointed.
Explains everything in ways you understand. Doesn't walk around the problem, tells you what he think and helps you make the right choice.
Whereas, the dr is great. I think it is ridiculous that I have to pay him $30 to have FMLA papers filled out. I didn’t charge him when he wanted me to fill out papers.
I had a total knee replacement on my right knee. Dr. Fisher was very thorough with his explanations of what to expect. I am most impressed with the incision, since he doesn't use staples, the scar is very thin. I'm looking forward to getting my left one done now!
Great doctor and staff
I had a torn meniscus and ACL. He repaired it and so far no swelling and minimal pain. He’s very compassionate and explains what he is doing. I’m truly grateful. He’s very approachable and yet professional. He reminds me of Joel Olsteen! LOL!
was ex rated and he said I had bursitis, tendinitis and put one shot in each shoulder to help with pain and inflammation., Returned 10 days later and the nurse practitioner was sent in to see me, not the Dr. I asked for an MRI to see if there were any tears in my shoulders and was informed the Dr. does an MRI and then surgery. I asked a common sense question, shouldn't the MRI be done, show me the results and then decide if surgery was needed. I am 84 years old and I sure don't want surgery on my shoulders unless the MRI shows a tear. He would not cooperate, so I asked for my report on my x rays, got them and will get another opinion and will not submit to an MRI and then have surgery unless I see the MRI results and see if surgery is needed. I found him to be rude and uncaring and didn't explain the results of my ex rays---I had to read about them on the report I requested and received. The nurse practitioner was very helpful and explained how surgery if needed, would be performed, but she ended up saying the Dr. would refer me to a specialist??? Don't believe this dr. or any dr. if you feel something isn't right . Go for a second opinion or as many opinions that satisfy and meets your needs. He is impatient and adamant. In my opinion, he is after the MONEY whether you need surgery or not.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
