List of Heidi E. Goldberg's Reviews
Thoughtful and knowledgeable care with a doctor who has gone above and beyond to made my care a priority. Most grateful to Dr. Goldberg.
Dr Goldberg is the Best of the Best. Worth the wait because she spends time with every patient. 20 years of the best care.
Superb. Excellent careful caring and simply the best Dr in her specialty in FL.
She’s definitely old school. She does NOT take debit or credit. Cash or check check?? only. Knows she’s the doc and you’re the patient and you can wait til she’s ready. She is who she is. Guaranteed “who knows?” eyerolls when you ask anyone where she is. If you want modern stateoftheart medicine she’s not for you. If you’re good with a Mayberrystyle knowledgeable and respected doctor bring your phone and be prepared to cool your jets.
Listens and asks probing questions
I have read all these reviews. All the negative ones are all correct that you wait a long time to see her but that is why all of us who have gone to her for a few years already know to bring a book or at lease call to check in and see how far behind she is. Dr. Goldberg treats you like family. She remembers your name AND she happens to be the best gastroenterologist in our area. She is a no nonsense Dr. whose goal is to get you and your condition better. I would not go anywhere else. I dont care how long I have to wait. She has done more for me and my other family members to treat us and we have all immensely improved under her care. Doctors today are reimbursed at such a low rate anymore from insurance companies you should be angry at the insurance company not the Dr. For you newbies that walked out if she was spending all that unrushed time on you would you be upset? Too bad for you is all I have to finish up with.
If I were to rate Dr Goldberg strictly on her abilities she would have 10 stars. Shes a very caring doctor. Even the hard cases she doesnt give up until she has an answer. And Im thankful for that relentlessness. BUT it all doesnt matter if when you get there shes running 4 hours behind. You either sit and wait go home and wait or reschedule. Her staff tends to be rude disorganized and overwhelmed. The doctor works a whole 2 days a week seeing as many as 45 patients in a day and takes her time with each of them. So by afternoon shes HOURS behind. I think its time for some hard decisions doc. Expand your working hours or take less patients or get another doc in the practice. And do something about your staff. Because your inability to adhere to a schedule is costing patients their health. And costing you clients.
I made my appt over a month ahead of time. The day before my appt.the office called to confirm and asked that I call 45 minutes prior to see if the doc was running on time or not. I called and was told to stay home until they called back which they did at 4pm. I went in was checked in paid my copay by check because they only accept checks or cash and was put in an exam with paperwork to fill out. It was not even 430pm.The room was old and very dusty and the sun was beating into the room which made it quite warm. The window had vertical blinds but had so many pieces missing there was no way to block the sun. I sat in the room until 6pm waiting with no one ever checking in on me or offering any kind of update.I walked out. Based on that experience I would not want Dr Goldberg as my doctor. If she is known to take time with her patients and is always running behind why don’t they adjust their appointments accordingly? And why doesnt her staff check on the patients when they are sitting and waiting? My time is just as valuable as hers.
Dr.. Goldberg is the best she is very caring. listened to all your complains with out rushing you my family trust Dr..Goldberg
Had a recent visit waited briefly in lobby was taken into the exam room within 10 minutes all went very well and scheduled procedure 1 month out at my request. She is a very good doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
