List of Rajendra A. Karkare's Reviews
Dr Kakare was assigned to me as a patient at Largo Med in 2017. I was new to the area so kept him as my Primary. He has been a wonderful Doctor...always listens with compassion. His visits are never rushed and his staff is top notch...always friendly. Always. Ive never had any issues getting an appointment and Ive never waited long periods of time in the waiting room with the exception of an occasional office emergency with a patient. The office is ran very smooth and professionally. More medical professionals should take note...
I was extremely impressed with Dr. Karkare when I had an annual exam a few years ago. At the time he was an innetwork physician plus he was very highly recommended. I am now on another benefit plan where he is innetwork and I selected him as PCP due to his professionalism and reputation. Looking forward to retuning.
Dr. Karkare has been our primary care physician for about three years. He is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients. He always spends the appropriate amount of time to discuss any issues we have and is very thorough. He has never steered us wrong. We highly recommend Dr. Karkare.
This doctor is awful. I went in for my once yearly preventative maintenance. During that visit he sent in a urine test which cost me $130 and billed me an office visit for $35. He said because he asked me questions about past visits he would bill be as a follow up and I was specifically there for routine covered charges. Turns out the doctor thought the urine tests were covered and I now have bills going to collections because I’m not paying for a service I didn’t ask for.Went to him for over a year and now I’m never going backDon’t go to this doctor. He’ll find ways to overcharge and make you keep coming back.
I have been with this doctor for about three yrsbut am now dropping him. He is unable to keep staff and has had about five turnovers in thwo years. Initially he seemed like a caring doctorbut I soon learned otherwise. His lack pf attention to what turned out to be a bacterial infection of my digestive system put me in the hospital last year. I have third stage kidney diseasebut aside from continuing to prescribe the same diuretics prescribed by a nephrologist three yearsa gohe has done nothing to follow up on that diseaseI even had to ask him to run ablood test to check kidney function. The final blow came todayI have been having problems with water retention I went to see him todayafter waiting forty minutes for himhe spent all of seven minutes with me prescribing anew diuretic to be taken for one week on a trial basisand the antibiotic Acyclovir for a supposed herpetic infection on my legs I happen to be a microbiologist and I know it is not a herpetic infectionso he prescribed the wrong antibiotic In addition I have GEQRD for which he prescribed what is essentially on over the counter drug Formatidin which now doesnt seem to be working. I could go onbut my final word is thisstay away from this doctorI dont think he really carea abi=out his patientsI think he is burning out
I am currently a patient of Dr Karkaresbut will probably be leaving him for a number of reasons. He has n=made faulty decisions one of which landed me in a hospital. He really doesnt seem to care anymore about his patients.
Ive been w Dr. Karkare going on six or seven years very flexible w scheduling and very concerned with patients needs well past being that of Primary Physician. I am very satisfied w the level of care his office staff provides w each visit.
If you want a good Dr. do not choose Kakarehard for me to even put Dr. in front of his Name. He has you come back every Two Weeks just so he can get his money. He spends maybe 5 minutes with you and that is stretching it. Every time he saw me he asked if i had a flu shot and i had to tell him he gave it to me. The last straw was when i was out of state carrying for a sick relative and he would not give me a refill for one of my scripts until i got back home and came to see him. There is a revolving door with his staff so dont form a relationship with any of them. Everything worked out great for me. I found a Dr. that really listens and only needs to see me twice a year. SO LONG KAKARE
Finally a doctor that listens and takes his time. He really cares. I dont feel like a number in his care. Ive had thyroid issues for years noone would listen to me regarding my symptoms. Dr. Karkare finally treated me and I feel much better. I can get through my day without felling exhausted.
Answers questions and listens to me. Best Dr. ever.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
