I am no one to sit here and write reviews, but after the experience, I had to do. I have been suffering from vertigo for the past month. I have seen every doctor you could think of. It has been a rollercoaster. Constant dizziness every single day, I was losing my mind. I had just left the eye doctor who made me feel like I was crazy. I prayed to God to help me find a neurologist as soon as possible. Driving by, I called and was able to be squeezed in for two weeks. The NP heard my tears, what I was going through, and called me back. She was so sweet she told me to come right now. I went and had the pleasure of meeting her and Dr.Lalama.When he came in, I was in tears from vertigo. He was cracking jokes and making me feel comfortable. When I wanted to cry, he would listen and say, let it out. After all the results turned out, I never had vertigo. My primary issue was anxiety. He gave me the reassurance I was okay. We made jokes, we talked, he listened, and most importantly, he CARED

For those who may be interested when they go to a doctor, even if it is recommended, be very careful and pay close attention to the experiences of previous people my experience in particular is terrible with this doctor and his group has no minimum of ethics or humanity the doctor treats you like a object very bad treatment on the part of the whole group they do not follow up or pay interest in their patients a horrible experience

If you want that Hialeah style care in Coral Gables come here. I wish I could give zero stars. Prepare to waste a day sitting on uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room because they don’t give you assigned appointment times. You’re told to arrive anytime between 9am-3pm so if it’s full you’ll be waiting hours to be seen. Dr. Lalama is extremely rude and lacks bedside manners. If you have the option of seeing a different neurologist I’d strongly advice you do. I think the only positive note is that at least the ARNP and DR speak good English because it’s a hassle just dealing with the secretaries.

Very rude! My friend had an appointment here & they treated her terribly. Doctors are supposed to help you get better & they did not do that here. It’s no wonder they have such bad reviews.

DO NOT SEEK THE SERVICES OF THIS NEUROLOGIST. Extremely poor bedside manner. Rude and dismissive to the patient when they’re explaining symptoms and posing any questions. Shows no desire to intentionally diagnose the patient and resolves to simply treating a symptom rather than the root cause of the patients neurological issues. Patients are also unable to schedule specific appointment times and are instead instructed to arrive anytime between 9 am-3 pm, making alternative work schedule arrangements pretty much impossible. Sincerely, if I could give this doctor 0 stars, I would.

No soy paciente de este doctor pero no tiene comunicación ni le importa el dolor y da informes desfavorables a seguros y después no atienden a pacientes que sufren mucho dolor, mi esposo vive a base de dolores y solo le dicen que tomar medicinas es la solución, debe haber alguna opción que ayude a los pacientes ,y aún más personas que sufren tristeza por estar con dolir .Este doctor y quienes trabajan con El no ayudan .Es un amargado .A mi esposo no lo trataron nada bien .

It’s horrible, they don’t actually give you an hour for your appointment, just a day. And then they called in order of arrival. That’s just in theory, I took my friend there to his appointment and we were literally the third ones there (we arrived at 10 am) and we were the last ones to see the doctor (at 5 pm!!!!) every other person who arrived after us was seen first. So, if you’re are able to go to any other neurologist in any other practice, I strongly recommend that you do!!!

Great staff, they help me always really fast. They alway let you know that is first come first serve. Dr. is the best.
