Very friendly staff always willing to help answer any questions you may have. Dr. Mixa very nice explains everything in detail what is going to do highly recommend this office. It’s nice when you go in and people greet you and don’t act like your bothering them.very friendly and helpful. It’s hard to find these days, but kudos to you all great staff !!!

Terrific Dr., Always see him when I go in , he's the best of the best. As for his staff, and billing, they are horrific. Calls are not returned, they talk down to you, or at least they try to, and really don't understand insurance. I've been chasing a refund from overpayment to the office since last November, was told the check was to be issued in a few weeks, 4 months later... still waiting and won't return calls...... He needs better staff that represent him better.

He's an ass, pays no attention to you, does all the talking and now I read he's involved in a lawsuit where the patient died.

Dr. Mixa did my left full knee replacement and I had no issues whatsoever. His staff was great, courteous, friendly and professional. I'm coming back to him for my right knee replacement, my right shoulder torn rotator cuff and my lower back. He is truly one of a kind and knows his stuff. I just love Dr. Mixa and his wife both.

I was referred to Dr. Mixa from my primary physician for knee pain. He staff was great and got me an appointment within a reasonable time frame. I was there a little early for my appointment and was taken in on time and had my x-rays completed right there. I waited about 15 minutes for the DR and he came in with my x-rays and showed me how the knee was bone on bone on the right side and talked to me about options to try before surgery. He was informative and had a great bed side manor. I really like him and his staff.

After reading the reviews on Dr. Mixa I was very reluctant to have him treat me but he was one of the 2 Drs. that accepted my Insurance. I called his office & to my surprise I was able to make an appt. for the next day! After waiting about 15 min. he checked me for a fractured ankle. Within in 15 min. he had his assistant take an X-ray & then he showed me where the fracture was. He had his assistant wrap my ankle & wrote me a prescription & within an hour I was on my way! I don't know where all the negative ratings come from but my experience was with him & his staff was GREAT!!! Him & his entire staff are very friendly & professional & I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed!!!

Had left knee replaced. He and his staff are outstanding. I was walking without a cane in 2 weeks and riding my bike in 1 month. His assistant and wife Martha were most caring and available. 5 stars

One year ago today (8/7/2021) I had shoulder surgery to remove bone spurs and relieve bursitis by Dr. Mixa. I was totally surprised that I had no pain after the surgery except slight discomfort at night for about two weeks when I slept in certain positions . I never had to use any pain pills which Dr. Mixa had prescribed. My shoulder is completely healed and back to normal. I believe Dr. Mixa is a very skilled surgeon.
