I had shoulder replacement surgery with Dr Mighell. He used an innovative muscle sparing procedure. The physical therapist was amazed when I showed up only 3 weeks postop and could do so many exercises with relative ease. Recovery was fast. Im so pleased with Dr Mighell and his team Im scheduling replacement surgery for my other shoulder. Thank you Dr Mighell Im enjoying my life again

I was told several years ago to delay my shoulder replacement because of the incredible pain and discomfort. I researched and was referred to Dr. Mighell for the surgery. After talking to him and his team I was convinced that he was my surgeon. Well he exceeded my expectations. His nurse Rita followed up daily after the surgery. I never really had pain that Tylenol would not relieve.. I was in rehab weeks ahead of schedule. The rehab team said I broke a record in my rapid recovery. Dr. Mighell was always available to answer questions whenever I needed. I highly recommend this team fir shoulder issues.I

Dr. Mighell is a extremely skilled double board certified surgeon who treated me for a detached tricep tendon of my left arm. Dr. Mighell was patient informative and compassionate doctor who took the time to answer all of my questions as well as my wife’s at our PreOperative office visit. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Michell’s surgical recommendation that I scheduled my surgery within four days .My post operative medical treatment by Dr. Mighell and his dedicated medical team was Awesome I would highly recommend Dr. Mighell to family friends and neighbors who may be in need of the good doctor’s professional services.

Dr. Mark Mighell is a KIND, BRILLIANT & GIFTED shoulder surgeon & his support team is ‘SECOND-TO-NONE’!! It’s my pleasure & my honor to leave this 5 Star Review. I’m 68 yrs. & in need of a right (& eventually, a left) Total REVERSE Shoulder Replacement due to 2 past Traumatic Shoulder Injuries (I broke both shoulder sockets). Had my right shoulder replaced 6/28/21. The surgery was OUT-PATIENT & took LESS than 1.5 hours. My surgery was different than the more common REVERSE Shoulder Replacement in that Dr. Mighell DID NOT CUT ANY MUSCLES in my shoulder!! Consequently, my recovery, thus far, has been nothing short of a miracle! NO over-night hospital stay; Able to shower & dress myself after 7 days; Out of the IMMOBLIZER in 11 days; Minimal pain; Could drive after 11 days (after no longer needing prescription med) & Began PT 3 weeks post-surgery!! Am 3+ weeks post-surgery and Family, Friends & I can’t believe my progress! Also, I have seen Dr. Mighell at EVERY app’t! My humble THANKS!

I began at Florida Orthopedic with Dr. Mighell in November for shoulder pain. Everyone is polite kind and quite helpful. They return calls immediately and are very helpful..I had shoulder replacement 2152021 done by Dr. Mighell. As a paraplegic I have had additional challenges for my recovery process. Dr. Mighell has been compassionate and been an excellent provider.I am so grateful I had the surgery and would do it again but only with Dr. Mighell and his amazing staff.

I have had rotator cuff surgery on my right arm a few years ago in another state. I really dreaded having the same surgery on my left arm. I had 3 doctor opinions. I immediately felt that Dr. Mighell would be the best. I had my surgery August 2020 and I couldnt be more pleased. I stayed on the circulating ice machine and I only took the pain pills for 23 days. I was walking on the beach day 3 for several miles each day. I will tell you I was pleasant surprised at how well my surgery went and the lack of pain. I was truly anticipating 6 weeks of H. I am now 8 months out and I feel great I am at probably 95% . I takes a full 12 months to get to 100% but I am very pleased. He has always been very friendly answers all questions I have with each of my followups. The best is I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Mighell.

I had a total should replacement in June, 2019 by a good surgeon in Ocala. Long story short, I ended up with a bacterial infection in the bone which was not diagnosed until January of this year, because two I & D’s did not find the infection. February, the prosthetic was removed and I was on IV meds for 6 weeks. My surgeon told us in the hospital that he would not be doing the replacement & was sending me to the best shoulder surgeon he knew as this was out of his comfort zone. I had a revised replacement on 5/3 and found out at my 2 week check-up my should was dislocated. Yesterday, I had my 6th surgery, to fix the dislocation and Dr. Mighell put the largest ball in. I came home today, with moderate pain. This surgeon, his APRN and PA, Stacey & Leticia, and Rita and Elise are all top notch. Dr. Mighell is caring and down to earth and I am extremely happy with my outcome so far! Great care at Carrolwood Hospital as well!
