List of Amy Capoocia Do's Reviews
Wonderful when you NEED to see her, she is there for you sorry to see her move
The staff at Dr. Capoocia's office is always so rude when I inquire about my mom's medications, even when my mom is on the phone with me. They have her on two medications that do the same thing, and then said she's on a medicine they pulled her off months ago. They are so unorganized. Terrible. I plan on moving her as soon as I secure a new primary. Do your self a favor and avoid this practice - you'll be happier if you do for your sake and most likely your parents if you're a caregiver like me. If I could rate them zero stars I would, but I can't so I have to give them one star. That's one too many for this group.
this "Doctor" has refused to give my mother any referrals claiming that. She can take care of everything herself. Only problem is the Doctor is never available. At one point she told my mother she was in stage 4 kidney failure and would likely be on dialysis within months. causing my mother much undue stress. Luckily she actually allowed a referral to a urologist. And my mothers kidneys are just fine. Most recently My mother went into the doctors about a fall. She was told the "provider " was not available and that they would call her back that afternoon about getting an MRI, She has fluid on her knee is in constant pain. and still can't get an MRI or a referral to an orthopedist . They called back a week later and said they could get her in for an appt in 2 weeks Wo its okay that an 83 year old woman should suffer? My mother is a vibrant smart active woman. and it is a disgrace that she be treated this way. This woman and her staff should be ashamed!
She is an excellent Dr. Looks at you and lustens. Unfortunately she left from my arwa.
Extremely rude woman answering the phones. Made me wait on hold without saying a thing...”please hold.....followed by several minutes only to be told “she isn’t accepting new patients”. Without an apology or any following statement. Perhaps your team needs a lesson in hospitality!
Her staff is incompetent. Unfortunately, I have an HMO that requires you to get a referral from your Primary Care. Her staff has held up referrals twice NOW. 2 Weeks is not acceptable for a referral. When Open enrollment happens I will definitely get a PPO and change Primary Care. Also, I have only seen her once since I have been under her care which has been over one year. Always a PA.
As a new patient I did not meet or see Dr Capoocia, I saw the PA. She was not very warm and somewhat abrupt. When I went for my bloodwork it was a good experience, got right in and out with a pleasant person. The individual doing my initial intake on first visit spent more time talking about himself and Family than learning about me and my health and concerns. Upon leaving I was going to make an appointment for my Special Needs son as we are fairly new in this area and need to get established with a PCP. I was told that they were not taking any new patients! I was a new patient that day and just wanted to get my son in but no accommodation or consideration was made for him. Overall not a very impressive experience.
She is an amazing doctor. Very patient and listens to you. She takes her time with you and is very through. Kind and gentle manner. My husband sees her as well!
I have had Her for over 2yrs & only Met once, P.A. is the one who only examines Me @ every visit..?
I travel from Trinity to keep her as my PCP!! Very knowledgeable, compassionate, easy to talk to and a great bedside manner!!! I love her staff also!! Pleasant and kind!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
