I had been to 2 other doctors and they were not able to diagnose my condition. I saw Dr. Buethe and he too was puzzled by my symptoms but spent about 45 minutes with me and eventually came up with a possible diagnosis which, after a CT Scan proved to be accurate. I am now scheduled for surgery. Dr. Buethe was very easy to talk to and made me as comfortable as possible during his exam. I am so grateful that he took the time to narrow down the cause of my problem even though it turned out to not a urology issue. I will always be grateful and would definitely recommend him to friends. J C

told me he wanted to do bladder biopsy at hospital under general anestheisia because his scope could not reach the trigone area of mu bladder and that he thoug;ht cancer had spread all ove ladder and i needed chemo in bladder, a uretal sent..I DID NOT DO HAVE THIS PROCEDURE AND WAS SO UPSET THAT WATED 4 MON AND SAW TWO DOCTORS OUT OF COUNTY..IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 UEARS..THERE IS STILL NOTHING TO BIOPSY AND NO SPREAD OF CANCER AND I FEEL FINE AND THE DOCTORS OUT OF COUNTY WANTED TO KNOW WHO TOLD ME SUCH A THING. I WENT TO DR BUETHE JUST 7 MONTHS AFTER A CYSTOSCOPY.. THERE WAS NOTHING TO BIOPSY WHEN I WENT TO DR BUETHE. NO OTHER DOCTOR COULD FIND ANYTHING TO BIOPSY. FAND THE TRIGONE AREA IS AT THE BEGINNING OF BLADDER NECK..I AM A FEMALE AND SHORT. SCOPES FIT ALLS IZES. THIS WAS ABSURD. IN ADDITION, TWO OR SO WEEKS AFTER EXAM DR BUETHE WROTE ME A NASTY LETTER ACUSING ME OF TALKING BADLY ABOUT HIM TO ANOTHER UROLOGIST HERE. I HAD JUST MOVED TO NPR AND DID NOT KNOW ANY DOCTOR HERE AND HAD

After receiving a panic call from my PCP re: the results of a PSA test, I tried several times to get through to Dr Beuthe. The office staff never picked up the phone after putting me on hold (3x). I then called Dr Beuthe on his cell which he had suggested that I do after informing him during a visit about previous rude staffers. He then proceeded to not even return my call! REALLY?? Sorry, I left that practice the next day and am now having a professional (medical) urology practice address my medical issues.

Excellent doctor. Very thorough, answers all your questions, efficient office! Had my second visit the other day. Very very lucky to have found this excellent doctor. He takes his time to be sure he answers any questions you have. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.
