Dedea, M.D. Family Medicine's Online Review Report Card

I went to a wellness visit as a first visit. Both Dr?s were not accepting new patients so I agreed to meet with the PA. This was last year sometime. I called both my insurance and their office in advance and was told by both that a wellness visit was covered. I GAVE MY INSURANCE info over the phone for them to check this.The only advice I received was to stop taking my anti anxiety meds. (Keep in mind I?m diagnosed MDD with anxiety since the early 90?s). She took no blood for diagnoses. Did nothing regarding physical issues only the mental health ones which she is woefully unqualified to do. Since then I have learned they billed my insurance for over 500.00 and they keep bothering me for money. They call, they email and they text. I have repeatedly asked them to stop to no avail on every form of communication. I feel like I am being held hostage by their aggressive tactics. If I had even gotten a blood test it would be different. BEWARE!

I am so thankful to have seen Lauren . She heard my concerns and acted on them . Thank you .

Dr. Anthony and Dr. Lauren are fabulous. I usually see Dr. Anthony and he is very personable and kind and he listens to your concerns. Fortunately I am a healthy person but he still keeps an eye on me every 6 months. Thank you, Dr. Anthony.

I’ve been struggling with a medical issue for over five years. During that time, I’ve seen three doctors and one nurse practitioner but was never able to get clear answers. When I first met with Dr. Lauren Dedea in August, it was the first time I truly felt heard and that someone was committed to finding the cause of what’s been going on. I finally felt some relief and trust knowing she was helping me work toward answers. Recently, when I called to schedule a follow-up after my bloodwork and biopsy, I was told that Dr. Dedea is now only seeing new patients and hospital follow-ups. I was offered an appointment with her husband or a PA instead. To say I’m devastated is an understatement. I finally found a doctor I felt comfortable with and trusted, and it’s difficult to start over again—especially since I’m not comfortable seeing a male doctor. I completely understand if scheduling is limited, but I would really appreciate being able to continue my care with Dr. Dedea until my medical concerns are fully addressed. She’s been the only provider who has truly listened and taken my symptoms seriously. After five years of not being heard, I finally had hope—and now I just feel defeated being told I can’t continue care with her.

Follow up: I received a phone call today and the lady stated that there was a conflict of interest since I wrote a bad review. She then went on to ask me how I was going to fix it. She didn't say it but implied if I wanted to keep my appointment I would have to change my review. She never asked what they could do inorder to resolve my bad review. In no way is this my perspective but what was said on the phone. At no point in the 1st call did she say anything about paperwork. I received paperwork through email after the 1st call and its done online. I was never told that the reason why they had to reschedule my appointment was because a new patient required more time than an existing patient. If she had explained this on the 1st call I wouldn't have written the review. The doctor himself may very well be a great doctor but his staff represents him and his practice. I would like to talk to the doctor directly, but we all that will never happen. 1st call I had scheduled an appointment a month ago online because someone had recommended Dr. Dedea. The day before my appointment I received a phone call from the staff and she told me that I couldn't be seen that day because I'm a new patient. They waited until the day before to call and let me know this. The lady then told that I could go to a Urgent Care. Not a very good start for a new patient.

Dr Anthony spent more time with me than any doctor I have been to. Very professional, friendly, caring and concerned. I recommend this practice to anyone e looking for a new doctor.

Wonderful office! Everyone I’ve had the pleasure of encountering has been friendly and caring, very patient centered. Thank you Ashley, Nicole, Angelina, Stormi and Vanessa for making our visits smooth. And a huge thank you to Rosina and Drs. Lauren and Anthony Dedea for taking the time to address our concerns and never make your patients feel rushed.

What a breath of fresh air Dr. Lauren DEDEA is. She listens! Although our (hubby and my) first visit, we are happy to have found this gem of an office.
