Gunwant Dhaliwal's Online Review Report Card

The physician is refusing to refill a critical medicine. Without this med I will most likely have a heart attack over Christmas. It has been made more than clear to me that this physician cares nothing about his patients. I was told by him that I was not allowed to see him anymore, because I ask to many difficult questions about the tests he forced me to have to get a diagnosis. Then when I met with him again I received no diagnosis for the issue I was having. After asking me not to come back I was told by him that he would refill my prescriptions until I could find another doctor, evidently this was a lie. Without any warning he has decided to stop refilling a critical medication. Do not go see this physician if you value your health.

I would not even give them a star because my cousin had a bad experience there at the place. When she got there the staff was very rude. I was on the other side of the phone to translate because nobody could speak Spanish there. While I was on the phone she asked me questions and I answered it but she was very unprofessional and very rude. Same to me that she didn't want to answer me. When the Doctor Gunwany S. Dhaliwaland arrived I was trying to translate whatever question if he asks me but all he said that if I'm not there to translate then he doesn't need me and ask my cousin to hang up. It seems like he's prejudice of Spanish speaking people. He was very rude, very nasty, and unprofessional to me. I would never recommend anyone to be at that clinic. When my cousin left the place, she said they treated her very badly. I hope they get reported for their action.

Dr Dhaliwal was FANTASTIC! I am so thrilled to have found her and her team! Plus they do blood work right there in the office!

I’m a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic. I had been diagnosed in the ER because I had diabetic ketoacidosis, it was recommended that I followed up with a doctor for more info and I book an appointment at the Spring Hill walk in clinic Dhaliwal works at and I was not happy with my visit. This was my first time going to a doctors appointment alone since I turned 18 and was hoping for more clarification and information on my diagnosis and what the doctors at Bayfront and my nurse practitioner told me. His delivery came off as rude. When I told him how much insulin I was taking a day (I’m currently taking short acting) he chuckles like if it was bad thing (mind you, the amount of units im taking is the amount the hospital discharged papers told me to take). And when I questioned him and mentioned my nurse practitioner, he seemed to get upset and say “she is not a doctor, I’m the doctor, I’m telling you”. He’s very unprofessional when he’s questioned or takes clarification as you doubting his knowledge. I nearly teared up, because I felt like I did something wrong the way he talked to me.

I find The doctor and his staff ton helpful and capable.

Believe all the negative reviews about his attitude toward patients. He literally got so excited and pretty much went off in front of my mother and I when we were trying to get clarification on something. I thinks he just hates it when being questioned. Majority of the staff is nice and professional however one older front lady decided to give me attitude and be sarcastic toward me when I questioned what was the procedure for prescriptions/refills for meds since the doctor told my mother the last time she was seen that she will call in a prescription and when I went to pick it up found out it was not called in. I should have already knew not to let my mother go back but yet we did for a final time. I wouldn't go see him if he was the last doctor on Earth.

Egotistical and doesn’t like to be questioned.

Since 2007, I have been going to Dr Dhaliwal office. He and his staff have been very good to me. They listen, and are very knowledgeable in the medical field.
