List of Hany Abskhroun's Reviews
Dr Abskhroun is an extremely compassionate and patient-focused physician. As a medical student myself, I was humbled by his dept of commitment to his patient's wellbeing; he listens, takes time, and includes his patients in their medical care. He is a decent human being who happens to be a doctor. His patients love him and he loves them back. What a gentleman!
Very poor office staff - made an appointment 2 weeks ago and they call me the day before and say they cannot see my 100 year old Uncle as the Dr is not listed as his "primary Care". They had 2 weeks to tell me this - instead they waited till the day before - which it could not be changed in time.
Never had to wait very to be seen. Dr. And staff are very attentive and listen to patients needs.
ST Thomas Clinic is an At plus medical facility. The staff always above and beyond to help all the patients. The doctor is knowledgeable and helpful. Even through the worst of the pandemic they always have time to help you.
My family and I have been patients of Dr A. for a few years now. Great interest in our health care!
Dr. Abskhroun doesn’t even deserve one star. At my visit with him today I was told in a very certain tone that I should stop going to the emergency room and only use urgent care. I responded with the urgent care doesn’t open till 8 or 9 am and I had severe pain to which he responded well you should just wait until the urgent care opens. I went to urgent care on one occasion and they would not take me as I had a blood clot in my leg and was told that they would not be able to treat me so I should go to the emergency room. I said that maybe I should get another pcp and was told again in an abusing tone to go right ahead and do that. None of my problems were addressed and he got up and left the office mumbling something about 4 months. Upon checking out the staff advised me that he wanted me to make an appointment for 4 months which I did. On my way home the office called to ask me what pharmacy I used and I said you are looking at that in my folder and asked why they needed the information and was told that the dr wanted to order medicine for my cholesterol to which I replied with if it’s a staten I cannot take it. Then she responded with I’ll put down that you refused a staten and put it in your folder so that I can close the folder. I have called the insurance company to report the terrible way that I was treated. No one should take that abuse from any dr. I will be looking for a new pcp.
MY mom has been a patient with this Doctor for years. She is 101 years old. She fell and fractured her pelvis and was in Oak Hill Hospital then she went to Encompass Health Rehab in Spring Hill. Then off to Windsor Woods Rehab in Hudson, FL where she has been for the past month. She is now walking with a walker but unfortunately contracted COVID as did many in this facility. She has been a patient of Dr. Abskhroun for many years. I contacted him with my concerns and this wonderful doctor called the Director of this facility requesting all info on my mom and her care. He also personally called me back and will keep me informed. He truly is a wonderful man and goes above and beyond for his patients. Thank you Doctor.
I have be a patient of Dr Haney since 2010 and I find him to be an excellent doctor a fine human being and a good man his knowledge of medicine is excellent and he has a vast system of connections with other same minder physicians in the local area that he utilizes for problem solving that occur in patient's lives that need specific attention from a certain type of doctor. I highly recommend Dr Hany to anyone looking for a new primary doctor. His staff is excellent to work with, kind, caring and knowledgeable friendly and efficient.
I am 75 yrs. old have been seeing the Dr.Abskhroun over 5yrs. he always has time for questions sends me for tests makes sure i am in good shape. Easy to talk to
5/7/21 I gave Dr. Abskhroun a 3 star rating because I found him to be average. My first visit as a new patient I saw an intern from Oak Hill. He popped his head in the door as I was leaving. No way to welcome a new patient to his practice. I found Dr. Abskhroun to be somewhat aloof and lacking in the area of bedside manner. In my opinion he didn't seem like he was interested in spending time with me or really listening. He seems to be a "referral" doctor more than a problem solver. I'm sure he's competent but I was looking for a PCP who made me feel like "his patient" and not just "another patient." His staff totally botched a refill I needed and when I called I got the machine/left a message/and they never called back. I've since switched to another PCP.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
