List of John Baker's Reviews
Doctor Baker is the Best Podiatrist in the Area!
Dr. Baker is a wonderful, down to earth doctor. He’s compassionate and caring. Definitely tells you how it is and explains everything in our language not the medical terminology way. I already recommended a few people to him. . His staff are all nice, caring and friendly. Thank you Clara and John for always being there for me. Thank you all.
After a bunionectomy my foot looks deformed. I wish i could post a picture as i would not need to say anything else. 2-foot surgeons have told me the foot surgery was overcorrected and that is why i am in pain daily. My foot is splayed now, and I cannot even walk far. I cannot shop big stores as I will be limping out. I need to have it fixed with more surgery and a boot for 5 weeks, and a long healing time. This is no joke and I am angry that it didn't need to be!!! Get a 2nd opinion and read all reviews.
I had a bunionectomy. A complete and utter disaster. It was overcorrected and hence it looks like a claw foot. I have been in pain for 2 years, cannot walk far and cant shop in big stores. This has limited my life instead of helping it. I am scheduled to have it fixed again so now 5 weeks in a boot and not being able to work and get around. 2 foot surgeons told me my problem is caused by the surgury he did!!! My foot is embarrassing to me, and I am self-conscious. When I saw how my toe was splaying badly, I went in an asked if any product could help pull it in. He tried to sell me a little band type of thing for 70.00.... I wrote the name down and googled it, and bought it from the companies website for 16.00..... Someone is not doing the right thing.! I would get a 2nd and a 3rd opinion when it comes to surgury.
Just wish I could leave a picture of my foot (the botched surgery)..... I dont have a foot, I have a claw...... A simple bunionectomy went badly overcorrected. I need new surgery with 4 weeks in a boot again. My new dr said boy this guy didnt do you any favors! I am furious that this did not need to happen. A totally incompetent job Keep driving that shiny red corvette parked outside your office, that your patients paid for, but you dont deserve it!
I had a bunionectomy 2 yrs ago. A disaster. I have what looks like a claw foot now and its painful as HE___. I went to see 2 other doctors in Crystal river and they both said it was overcorrected. I cant wear normal shoes and I am having more surgery to fix it on the 4th. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. 4 more weeks in a boot and no swim for this avid swimmer. I look like a freak with this foot and would love to be able to post a pic as you would not go near this office if I could. I cant say anything good about my experience.....
I have been to Dr Baker a number of times. He is very concerned about your needs. He talks about what he is doing as he fixes things. I think he is a good Dr.
Dr. Baker took excellent care while performing surgery on my foot as well as pre and post-surgery. I consider him the best doctor in his field that I have been a patient of. I refer people to him often.
I enjoy Dr. Baker and his staff. They ALWAYS make me feel like family and treat me in a very professional manner.. I so glad I found Dr. Baker Anthony (Tony) Abner
He is an excellent doctor, great bedside manner. He listen to the patient and addresses the issue.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
