Marc R Polecritti's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Marc Polecritti has performed surgery on my nose twice due to basal cell. Four years ago on the left side which was extensive and recently on the right side. He did a fanstastic job each time. He is professional, caring and answered all my questions with a smile. His assistant, Rachael, is very proficient and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Marc and his staff.

I will warmly recommend Dr. Marc R. Polecritti to anyone who needs breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. A very skilled, pleasant and efficient doctor. I am very pleased with the result.

I got an explant in 2020. Didn't care for Marc during consult but he came recommended for explants so used him for the removal. He brushed me off telling me nothing wrong with right side. Wouldn't order an mri or even refer me to get one done prior to surgery to figure out why right side was so painful. (Had he we would have known about torn muscle before) And although implants were in tact, I had tremendous pain in my right side even after surgery. They fought woth me to get another script filled and "didn't know why I had so much pain" Well, I got implants put back in (NOT BY POLECRITTI THANK GOD) and the surgeon on Tuesday had to repair a torn muscle I've had since my fall in 2017/initial complaint to Polecritti during consult in 2019/20 Marc had to have seen the torn muscle during surgery but didn't tell me or even try to repair it. I've had constant pain since 7/2020 explant on right side and now I know why. To be so money hungry and not caring enough to fix it while in there because I only paid for explant is ridiculous. Or maybe not money hungry but lack of professionalism and care for patients may be it. The surgeon I saw Tuesday repaired the muscle before putting implant in. Didn't have to, didn't charge me, didnt make a fuss about extra work he is just a great, meticulous and caring Dr. When I heard this I was beyond irritated at Marc. I waited a few days to do this review but decided to review anyways so others can be made aware. Please do your research and don't settle like I did with Marc Polecritti. 2 years of unnecessary pain because he was not fit to do a proper surgery or couldn't be bothered to fix a muscle... instead just left me in pain.

This review is actually for Dr. Derek Polecritti. If you are wanting aesthetic Flat Closure (aka going flat) after breast cancer Dr. Derek Polecritti is the best! I decided I wanted to go flat after mastectomy due to breast cancer but was left with some concave spots, puckering, and a bit of side/underboob after the initial mastectomy. I was referred to Dr. Polecritti and couldn’t be happier with the results!

Dr Polcretti is amazing, I was a patient a few times and my health and happiness was the top priority. I am so happy with the end result, the entire staff is amazing. I am so fortunate that I was referred to him, my reconstruction was a series of stages which he was extremely patient through. He Wanted to make sure I was pleased and felt like myself once again after breast cancer , what he does means more than he knows. Always thankful

I would absolutely recommend Dr Polecritti 100%, he did an amazing job on my surgery after removing Squamous Cell Carcinoma, in several places, no scars, amazing job

I was really afraid of the cancer on my face would leave me disfigured. I am so glad I went to him, because I barely have a scar.
