List of Mark Weitzenfeld Md's Reviews
I just called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was very rude: first asked what nationality os the patient, don’t think that is relevant, because my name didn’t sound American. Then asked if the patient spoke English and I was upset that she just assumed that The patient didn’t speak any English. The. She assumed I was calling from a dr’s office, when I actually told her I was my husband was the patient. When I told her that she was very unprofessional she said she decided on behalf of the doctor that the dr won’t take my husband as a patient. Shame on you!
Terrible at relaying information to a cancer patient who does not speak the same language. A nurse was used to translate and the patient left the office thinking the cancer was spreading and treatment was required immediately therefore I went to ask questions and his cocky arrogant attitude pointed his finger at me several times in the middle of my questions denying he ever said anything like that. Kept saying he did not have the current blood work results when they were personally brought in by the patient, after looking through the mess of paperwork he found it. Disgusting person to interact with.
He es very good Dr
He should have his lisence removed for performing surgery without anesthesia. I witness him asking the nurse to “hold her down”, while she was screaming....cruel and horrible
Does unneeded surgeries just for the money. Told me my prostate was enlarged when in fact it was on the small side. Problem was a severely descended bladder. Surgery needless to say was unsuccessful. Needed to order an mri or scan. He's a quack. Money hungry. Needs to read oath again.
Dr. Weitzenfeld is a great doctor. I underwent with him a turp. Excellent results, he did a tremendous job. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend him.
The most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered
He is just too cocky. He does explain what or why he is or want to do certain things. If you ask, he acts as if you have conmitted the ultimate sin. After having an in office procedure with Dr. Weitzenfeld, my husband has been up without sleep every night since. The urgency just won't stop. We are going to another doctor. Oh, there was no follow up after any procedure.
My first visit with the doctor was brief, and that was okay because I understood that he needed tests to evaluate my condition. When I went back for my tests, I was not given a clear explanation of my diagnosis or the medication that I was being asked to take. When I asked a few questions regarding the diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Weitzenfeld made me feel as if my questions were unreasonable and that I was wasting his time. It also made me very uncomfortable that he was giving his nurse a to do list while he was conducting my procedure. The waiting room I was in was not very clean. There was what looked like a dried up spot of urine on the countertop at my initial visit, and it was still there a month later. His staff is very friendly, but he is not.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
