List of Carefast Urgent Care's Reviews
Got there 20 minutes early for a Rapid COVID test. Called the day before to ask about my daughter getting a COVID test to return back to school. So this morning after checking in, the nurse takes us to a room and tells us, "I cannot give you a COVID test for a return back to school". No credible reason why they refuse for this specific purpose. I told her we have gotten Rapid tests at Walgreens to travel. She said that's different.Unbelievable. BAD EXPERIENCE with our Very First visit at CareFast. Will NEVER go Again for ANY REASON!
I came in because I was experiencing symptoms of pink eye. The receptionist couldn't even tell me how long the wait was. I chose to wait in my car and after 45 minutes went to check and see how much longer. I was told I was next. Convenient...after waiting another 20 minutes, I was called back. Sat in the exam room. Nurse comes in and asks what's going on. I start to tell her I was congested on my left nostril yesterday. She interrupts me and says " are you here for pink eye or respiratory?" I tell her it started with congestion and then this morning I had pink eye. She interrupts me AGAIN and closes her laptop and says she can't see me in this room. Ill have to go BACK outside and wait for a different room. I told her I'd already been waiting an hour. She ushers me to the door and says I'll be next but it was the wrong room. I tell her I'll just have to go somewhere else. That was RIDICULOUS. My husband had driven me and he had to be at work in 45 minutes. I had no more time to wait. This was a God awful experience.
My son was seen in April for a physical to obtain his asthma medication an inhaler and solution for his nebulizer. They did not give the prescription for nebulizer. So in July when he was running low, we called to obtain the solution. They stated he would have to come in again and get another physical for the solution. Which was stupid and incompetent on their part. When I had my records sent over to Dr Bainger's ( Anastasia Family Care) new office, they informed me that my records were shredded. and that they were closing permanently in December 1st.
I called ahead to see how the wait time was since they DO NOT take appointments. Remember, it is walk in only. I had an eye problem and the lady told me to come in at noon. I waited about 45 minutes until called back to the room. The male nurse was very nice. He gave my small child stickers and the appt wasn't even for her. A female doctor saw me within a few minutes. She was very kind and did not rush me to get to the next patient. I was out of there within an hour. The staff was very nice. Only problem was with the prescription. They use e-script and the pharmacy location I gave the nurse said they had received anything. I called Carefast and the lady who answered the phone was looking into it but left me on hold and never came back. Minus that, it was a good experience and slightly cheaper than other urgent care places since I don't have insurance.Update: Prescription was sent but the doctor's office had my birth date wrong.
I have been twice in the past year. All of the staff was helpful and caring. I was particularly impressed yesterday, because they were slammed with patients. They are being overworked with all the non immunized Covid patients. They start lining up at their door at 6:30 in the morning. I got there at seven and it was packed with people and they aren’t supposed to open until 8:00. They were allowing patients to come inside and sit down, the clinic across the street on US 1 kept their doors locked until 8 o’clock, (They had about 12 patients standing in their parking lot in the heat and humidity.)I don’t know how they do it 12 hours a day seven days a week. I had an injury to my hand and they worked me in, the doctor and the nurses were terrific! I’m sure everyone has an occasional bad day, especially during this pandemic, but I can’t imagine why anyone would give them a negative rating. They are currently doing an amazing job with an unimaginable medical crisis. Thank you doctors and thank you Chelsea for taking such good care of me yesterday! 😊 Cheryl
Took my teen daughter her for Covid symptoms. The staff did not greet or state what to do. It was almost as if we were a burden to enter the door. Was seen and was told to go home and take Advil and get vaccinated after a positive Covid test. Did not listen to lungs, heart, or anything else. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE COVID, GO TO AVECINA IN JAX. They have a treatment plan for Covid. They don’t send you home guessing. 😀
i went here to get tested for my blood sugar. i was told it would take 2 hours.... i waited 2.5 hours and they kept letting people in front of me go first. it's honestly disrespectful and the lady working the front desk was extremely rude and not a nice lady. don't work at a doctors office if your mean honestly.
Called ahead, long wait, doctor didn’t listen, quoted one price, was charged more, and got less done. Over all poor service. Check out another urgent care location.
Took very good care of me and very personable amd professional...
My two year old daughter was seen for an injury on her thumb. We were in and out in under an hour. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with my little one.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
