List of David J. Gross's Reviews
Dr. Gross saved my life ten years ago when he found melanoma during a routine yearly visit. He checks my skin four times a year now, to be safe, but I would be dead today if he had not caught that cancer. He always keeps me laughing too--he is talking about other things, but his eyes are on my skin. How does one say "thank you for saving my life"? Obviously, I am beyond grateful!
Dr. Gross has been my family's derm for many years. He is an excellent Dr. and has a refreshing personality. I am an attorney engaged in medical litigation and therefore, very selective on who I treat with and who I refer family, friends and clients to. This is the guy I recommend.
Dr. Gross was very professional. He took a biopsy of rash I had on and off for a year. Saw 2 other doctors. I was diagnosed, treated and rash free. Yay. He also told me what caused it. I will be back
My husband went religiously every 6 months. He questioned a lesion on his head and requested biopsy. Biopsy was positive for melanoma and required removal to the skull with lymph nodes by a different doctor and skin graft. A thorough review at a different dermatologist showed 7 more lesions, basal and squamous requiring removal. The melanoma was the second one Gross missed. Melanomas kill and we were very fortunate to find this one in tim . The huge scar is a reminder of our experience.
Dr. Gross is an excellent Dermatologist. He is professional, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. I have been seeing him for about three years and have been very pleased with his and his staffs service and expertise.
Office staff , appointments , billing , records , very polite and courteous. Dr Gross experienced Dermatologist informative on procedure being performed for skin cancer and other skin problems , has successfully helped me on numerous visits . I enjoy conversations with him after procedure . I highly recommend Dr David Gross and staff.
I came in for a different problem, but Dr. Gross found a dark patch that looked suspicious and took a biopsy and sure enough it was a level 2 melanoma. Thanks to him, we caught it in time. That was 5 years ago. If he had not found it, I might not be around. I go there now every six months and he is very careful to check anything that might cause trouble. I can not recommend him more and yes, he is quite a character.
I saw Dr. Gross a few days ago for a skin check. The office staff was friendly and courteous. However, the doctor did not do a full body skin check. He doesn't check the trunk of your body (starting at breasts and ending at thighs). Seems a little odd for me as he is a doctor and if I would have been told this when I made an appointment, I would have seen another doctor. Overall, if was an average doctor visit.
I have been seeing Dr gross for 15 years, he is an knowledgeable physician performs a through examination while providing interesting and amusing dialogue
Very good Doctor he really cares about his patients, this is my second visit and both were good with great results. Dr. Gross is an experienced Dermo and his staff is professional as well. They explained everything to me and answered any questions. Dr. Gross goes above and beyond, I recommend him. Plus he has a sense of humor and makes you feel at ease.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
