I highly recommend Dr. Cartwright and his staff. I have been with him since prior to him opening his own practice and have had to have multiple procedures. I have a medical condition that could be devastating if any mistakes were to happen during any neck procedures and I trust him impeccably. I am not ever nervous going into a procedure. He is patient, kind, understanding and willing to work with you. My experience with Yvonne has been just as great! I recommend him to anyone who needs any type of pain management.

I have been seeing Dr Cartwright for over three years. He is one amazing man. I was suffering with my spine for years!!!!!!! I saw so many Doctors that did absolutely nothing for me. Dr Cartwright knew exactly what to do to help me. I have sent several friends there. They all keep thanking me for my advise. Don’t hesitate he has 4 offices 2 in St. Augustine and 2 in Jacksonville. I can’t say enough about his complete staff. Friendly, efficient an courteous 🎉🎉🎉

He did good during my accident a few years ago was very attentive then. but than the last time he messed up during a procedure and I had shooting pain down my right arm from my elbow and shoulder is still sore months later. I’ve tried to call and call and call I’ve left messages and he hasn’t responded and I just referred someone to him who made an appointment for Monday two weeks ago. I won’t do that again! Also find a doctor that has a ton of reviews to figure out the truth about them I’m sure my review will be deleted again! So I will try to keep up with it every month or so for a while. He did call me the day after this review to dismiss me as a patient, after he messed me up more. Ive had problems with that same shoulder ever sense. :Updated Now I got my medical records but he lied on them and said it was a horse accident haven’t had horses in 4 years. It’s a he ( Cartwright) put the needle in and messed up a nerve accident is what it should have said.

Dr Cartwright is the best pain doctor I've ever been to. His office runs smoothly. He and his staff are awesome

Excellent service, office staff are friendly helpful. Dr. Cartwright is an extraordinary person, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable regarding pain management. I appreciate this practice immensely. You can actually speak to a real person when calling. The pain management is very healing. The nurse practitioner, Evonne is compassionate and helpful with managing trigger point therapy. Overall the entire staff flows quite well as they work together with each person.

Dr. Cartwright has been my treating pain management physician for many years now. He sent me for an MRI due to swelling and severe pain in both knees. Yesterday, after me calling in, while on the phone, his office downloading the Bilateral knee MRIs, and his staff got me in the same day. He did injections in both my knees. Today, I feel like a different human being, even with the cold front were in. He always seems to think and treat his patients as if it might be him or a family member suffering. He takes time to go over results, discuss options, and both the patient and Dr. Cartwright work to come up with a plan to manage your pain. Thank you so much doctor, and staff for your attentative and caring of your patients. MB, patient for more than 5yrs.

My wife has been a patient of Dr. Cartwright since his new office opened and is delighted with the level of care and the help he and his staff have provided. When my own back pain became too strong for my PCP to deal with, I was referred to Dr. Cartwright. He not only helped my pain with meds and a spinal injection, he also fast-tracked a change in my referral to a surgeon who saw me quickly and then performed a successful microdiscectomy, making it possible for me to eventually function without the need for medication. All of the staff at Dr. Cartwright's office have been helpful and understanding. The best thing about the office is that they listen before proceeding and rely at all times on feedback from the patient and formulate a plan customized to a successful resolution, even if it requires an ongoing process of medication and other things like injections.

Dr Cartwright helped me through a tremendous struggle with extremely debilitating pain and encouraged me not to give up on finding a neurosurgeon that would listen. He has many options for pain control and worked with me to find what was right for me. I’m now 2 weeks out from a 2 level lumbar fusion and I am excited about my future. Dr Cartwright thank you for caring and taking the time to listen. Your staff is amazing and very supportive in scheduling needs. You were all there for me when most needed. I highly recommend Dr Cartwright if you are in pain. He’s amazing!
