There aren’t enough words to describe the best Doctor in the world!

Do not use this Dr for surgery. He is not a caring person an after your surgery does not want to be bothered with you. I had surgery for six hernias.My stomach looks all deformed an when I confronted him he said I could get plastic surgery to fix what hehad done to me. He didn’t think it was a problem at all. DO NOT let this Doctor lay a hand on you!!!

Had my Surgery in February 2018, lost a total of 250lbs and have kept it off (currently November 2020). Dr. Marema and team are excellent at their jobs, helpful with the 44,000 random questions that would occur both before and after surgery.

Dr Marema was awesome! I had to have my gallbladder taken out. He explained everything that was going to happened. He has a kind mannerism and made me feel that he cared and wasn't just another patient. Everything went as expected. He id a great job! He has a really great sense of humor that helped put me are ease. Highly recommended him!

I had a gastric sleeve done a couple of years ago. I found the Dr and the staff here to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and the outcome of my surgery was everything I'd hoped for and more. I now have new knees too that I had to lose weight in order to get. I am almost 60 and now feel as active and healthy as 30 years ago. I love that I am totally satisfied by small quantities of food as that was a concern, the gastric sleeve removes the part of your stomach that triggers hunger enzyme, so my hunger is about 1 pct of what it used to be and it is very easy to just eat what I should, sometimes I have to eat even though I really don't feel a need or desire. I am firm believer that the sleeve was the very best option for me and that Dr Marema and this clinic was the best one to do it. My personal primary care physician had her son go to him-so what better recommendation than that! That is how I found him, I came up from Edgewater FL to get it done here. Some of the other reviews seem to be unhappy here when they had procedures elsewhere and couldn't get fixes here. I understand that, taking on another surgeons failure or trying to fix a botched procedure from elsewhere could be problematic for getting blame here, so i understand caution on accepting other surgeons work for revision or assistance. But in my opinion, if they'd gone here first, they wouldn't be having problems. Dr M is the best. He changed my life.

Dr. Marema performed my Roux-en-Y gastric surgery on Aug. 2, 2002 at Celebration Hospitalin Celebration, FL. I was in the hospital for a week afterward and I lost 30 pounds in that first week. I have been free of heartburn and somehow my blood glucose has been “normalized” nearly-instantly since that day in 2002. I was very excited to get started with Dr. Marema, as both my parents have gone through the procedure. Dr. Marema explained what to expect and what i needed to do to succeed. He didn't sugar coat anything and was straight to the point. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Marema. His office is always pleasant and willing to answer any questions.
