Never had a problem before until today, Rebecca who answers the phone is rude obnoxious and totally unprofessional, I called to get my husband's BP and cholesterol pills renewed at CVS, she told me they were controlled substances and needed an appointment, well BP meds arent controlled substances and my husband keeps all appointments and our next appointment is March 19 ,this is ridiculous and when asked for office manager Lori I was put through to a full mailbox can't leave message, still don't have pills just came from CVS

My issue is with insurance billing errors which do not get resolved. More than once they've made an error by submitting an incorrect Provider I.D. number on the insurance claim so it's processed as out-of-network. This allows them to double dip by collecting from my insurance and I'm stuck paying for their billing mistakes.

Dr Threw has been able to help me with all the different health issues I’ve had. He listens and comes up solutions with a smile. Glad to be his patient.

My encounter is solely based on the phone encounter with the front office staff. I was excited and looking forward to my appointment with one of the doctors since the practice has high reviews, however the front office staff argued with me over my appointment day which I new was current. After she found the error, she did not apologize for the heart ache she cause me. I hung up the phone due to my displeasure ( I was still going to show up for my appointment). However, the front desk staff called me to reprimand me for hanging up on her after the phone argument. I cancelled my appointment and will not be dealing with such aggravation. To the practice manager, I am so sorry for the negative review, however this encounter left a bad taste in my mouth. I am a physician and own my own practice, the front desk staff should always be welcoming and quick to apologize if there is an error on their end.

Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel special, from the moment you walk in the door. Dr Threw is great. Jada, Jess and Danielle too! Highly recommend them.

The front desk is appropriately staffed and calls are answered politely and handled professionally. The Doctor's assistants that stayed on from the previous practice are real gems: Danielle and Jessica. So competent and also pleasant and caring. Dr. Threw is excellent, knowledgeable and takes his time to listen; explains what needs to be done and why. Facilities are quirky but clean. There is hardly any waiting time. However for lab work the office is unable to reliably send testing orders to a lab; nor are they able to receive or send faxes so get lab orders in your hand. However they do quickly send prescription orders to my pharmacy. I strongly recommend you go the lab's website and download a copy of your test results to review before your next appointment to prepare your questions.

Went here today to start working on treating my sinus issues. Dr. Spencer Threw helped me, he was very kind and understanding. The place was very nice and clean. Everyone and everything was great. The only thing that was not good was the receptionist, she was rude from the moment I got there. She had a natural essence of just pure negativity. Then when it was time to leave, Dr. Spencer Threw told me to ask the receptionist for the referral to the ETN Specialist. So I asked her nicely for that and then they had problems printing the paper for me. I was patient and she had a bad attitude and was confused what I was asking for. I explained it clearly and very politely, she started talking to me like I was stupid. Dr. Spencer Threw had to do the receptionists job for her and give me a paper with the referred specialist. A receptionist is the first person you speak to when you go somewhere and you don’t want to be greeted with negativity, a bad attitude and utter disrespect. Everything was awesome except for that receptionist!

I love this doctor’s office! Doctors and staff are all friendly, facility is clean and beautiful. Each visit, I am warmly greeted and feel I am truly cared for. I will continue to commute to this office from Riverview!

Dr. Threw is personable and takes the time to listen to your chief complaints. I feel hopeful to be fully relieved of my back pain soon.
