Judging by the name we naively thought they’d be more accommodating to seniors. They most definitely are not. My 83yr old Mother had to fill out a mountain of paperwork half of which she couldn’t remember because the questions dated back over 30yrs. After dropping it off, it was 2 wks before we got a call and then it was to clarify insurance info. saying they’d call us soon for an appt. My Mother informed them, both when she dropped off the paperwork and when they called with the question, that she was diabetic and needed to get scripts refilled. We’re still waiting for the appointment and it’s going on three weeks now.
I wanted to become a new patient. I talked to the Gulfport Office three times after submitting my paperwork by email that was needed to get an appoint. I called them about 2 weeks after submitting my paperwork since noone called me to make an appointment within that time. They confirmed they have my paperwork and someone would be getting back with me. I called again, they said I am next in line, someone will be getting back with me. Still no call, I just talked to them again, and they said they have had an influx of new patients but I am next in line for a call to schedule my appointment. At this point, I told them, discard my paperwork, iIt has been weeks since I submitted my paperwork, f this is how their office is run, I do not want to be a patient. I am very sad about this since I have heard great things about a Doctor I wanted to see there.
I had the best care from the nicest people... They listened to me and looked me in the eye while talking to me.
as an RN CCM , I worked over 42 yrs in healthcare. it was all about the best care for my patient...so run as fast as you can away from this provider who values money over the BEST care for his patient. He listens to Humana and not the patient...he prescribed the cheapest medication for my husband , not the best. he delayed my husbands total hip surgery for a year when he was in dire need ( I know as this was my specialty area) I had to get all the records for him to approve when this should be done by his staff. when I changed my husbands doctor, the orthopedic surgeon said he was glad to see my husband was now with a real doctor. a friend of mine is now going to leave this practice as she's been told she has too many doctor. visits, He will not approve treatment suggested by his female doctor....she has sores all over arms and legs from a rehab place that are not being treated...she needs review of her medications but she says he will not change anything....for me as a nurse I find this worse than horrible.
Had a great experience coming here to get an annual check up. The PA and Dr were excellent. Unfortunately, they offered me routine bloodwork without informing me that my insurance may not cover it and failed to check if it would. Have now been hit with a $600 bill and have been battling insurance and the lab for a month. I absolutely recommend this place for their care and professionalism - just make sure you double check all insurance coverages as their admin may not.
I have been so happy with the practice in Gulfport. Dr McCoy is an excellent Doctor. The nurses that support her are excellent as well. I have found them all to be very professional, knowledgeable, responsive and good communicators. They also have a Physical Therapy department on premise. I had a debilitating back ache and the Therapist, Samantha uncovered a weakness in my pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. She had immense knowledge and understanding with those areas and its effect on the back. We worked on exercises and stretches for those areas that I also did at home and I’ve had a complete turnaround. I am so thankful to be getting back to my activities. Highly recommended!
I just want to first thank Daniel and Scott Gram for the excellent care. Friday I called to have a quick phone call for something I felt was important to my health. I was told until Dr. Gram gets your report you can’t speak with him. This is not the 1st time with this person I have been just talked to like that. I feel it’s important to talk to the doctor , I should have been told I will let him know your concern and tell me I will try to have him call you. So I don’t know if he was even told. Everyone one else has been amazing.
Absolutely spectacular! Dr. Gonzalez is makes me feel so comfortable and heard. She listens to her patients and gives great advice and recommendations. Nurse Olivia is wonderful and so kind too. When you walk you feel welcome immediately from the front office staff. Thank you Labrador for all you do!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
