I've been a patient of Dr. Wheeler since 2008. I would give ten stars if it was an option. This is the most professional, caring and amazing practice there is.

There are two sides to every story. In the end, if you don't want to be turned away (for good) for stating that you believe you should be seen after being only 6 minutes late one time, don't see this nurse practitioner. He acts as if he is running a specialized doctor's office. Realistically, he is a nurse practitioner who runs a general/primary care office and some other side business for which he takes phone calls priority over his patients (at least twice with me). Sadly, I've been a patient there for years before that happened. Over those years, I saw hints in his behavior that make it not surprising that this is how my time there concluded. I guess I've been duped.

DO NOT come here I've been here since 900a Just now got seen...never again! But the best part is I was given the wrong address and almost ended up at a Tampa location...I pulled over to cal and I was on hold for 15 min 20 sec (according to my phone) finally got thru only to find out it was litterbugs 5 min from my house...I left house st 815a so I wouldn't be late lmao! The office is always over booked and if your latte they will charge you a late fee!

Amazingly thorough and kind. Made me feel very welcome and truly listened to everything I was feeling. This is how doctors used to treat people and it was a refreshing change from the now norm.

John is a caring physician who takes his time and makes sure his staff is friendly and caring.

I've been going here for about a year now. I chose it for being 10 minutes from home. It is led by an NP - John Wheeler From the very start he made sure I was comfortable and could discuss freely my questions and concerns. He often has NPs in training so that today for example when my labs indicated a change I had 3 interested parties to help me understand and ask and answer questions. I've had primary care 'doctors' and I'll take an NP anyday. This one in particular. I never have a problem scheduling either nor have I waited for over 2 minutes to be seen. Great deal all around
