List of Speech-Language And Feeding Services At Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital's Reviews
"Five stars! Great service!" - Christian, 10
They have their own parking lot - 5 stars. This might seem trivial, but in DTSP this is gold. Even our feeding evaluation specialist mentioned that if we went to the main All Children's Hospital building parking would be harder. There were tons of spaces which is amazing. We went here for a feeding evaluation for my then five month old. TLDR backstory he had weight issues so the GI referred us here. They sent us paperwork ahead of time which included instructions about what we needed to bring, where to go, and all the first time paperwork. This made getting here and checking in a breeze. They called us back at our exact appointment time. We had Cara as our feeding eval specialist. She was super sweet and informative. Of course my baby decided this was the day he would crush his bottle in record time and then promptly fall asleep for the rest of the appointment, which rendered evaluating him absolutely useless. He ate as if he had no issues whatsoever. Cara found this as humorous as I did and we ended up just talking about how he normally eats and any suggestions for that. Overall the appointment went well and I thought this place is run really efficiently. My only small critique is the wall color is yellow and kind of creepy, not a cheerful yellow. I could imagine this being the setting for a horror story one day. They probably need to repaint but I'm sure saving children and improving lives is their main focus.
I pray I don’t have to ever use their ER again. My 22 month old had on and off fever for 3 days and screaming in pain. I wasn’t able to get into her dr in time so I told her to all Childrens, they broke the fever and told me she is constipated and sent us home. Next day, fevers again and threw up the medicine, so I take her back in and they did zofran and Tylenol at triage so by the time the dr saw her he said nothings wrong go home. Fever keeps coming back and after a 3rd visit trying to get answers as to why her fever keeps coming back they left me in a room for over 2 hours and not once did a dr come in to even look at her. The nurse heard her screaming in pain and came in and turned a movie in to get her to calm down and walked out. After the 2.5 hours of no one coming in I walked out. I took her first thing today to her pediatrician where he found an ear infection. If all Childrens had taken the time to actually cover the basis with my child they could have caught this before, but they just want to give you meds to break the fever and send you home and make you out to be an over worried parent. I wouldn’t have had to come back multiple times if she would have been checked probably. I pray no one else has to go through the headache we dealt with for the last 3 days. I trusted in them because they are a children’s hospital
Sadly my daughter’s time here is coming to an end as she will be 21 in less than a year. She’s impatient right now & the most amazing thing happened yesterday (5/31). The chaplain came in to pray with us and her day nurse, Michaela, (8 south) came in while he was in the room. She asked if she could join our prayer and then she asked if she could say a prayer too!!!! I’ve NEVER had this happen and was so moved by it! Such a simple gesture yet it was HUGE to me as a single mom to a daughter with a terminal syndrome and a lot of medical issues! She’s been a patient here since she was 2 mos old and I will miss JHACH!!!
Amazing nurses and staff at John Hopkins. I cannot begin to name them all, but every single person we encountered was so amazing and helpful. From the information desk when you walk in to registration and on. Hospitals can be stressful environments for patients, family and staff so I appreciate how kind, patient and considerate everyone was. I appreciate the transparency and communication between the surgical staff, their support team and the anesthesiologists. Special thanks to all the staff on Floor 7 for all the care they provided around the clock.
I absolutely love this hospital! They have the best nurses, doctors & surgeons!
What a great place!! Everyone told me not to bother because their waiting is crazy... But I got in a just a few months and it has been a great experience all around. Five star's all around!!!
My daughter (17) is a patient at both Neurology & Endocrinology. While the doctors seem to be knowledgeable & I can’t complain about her treatment. I am not happy about that on the THIRD visit to the lab I found out that my insurance company isn’t contracted with the hospital! I have $4000 worth of bills for blood work that I’m paying off and now I find out I can go to Quest Diagnostics for $25! I already pay $380 a month for private Florida Blue & to find out that the only children’s hospital in the area is pretty much price gouging me is not acceptable. Good news is she’s 18 in September & I’ll be moving her out of your offices. I thought being a children’s hospital you’d look out for families..I wish I could remember the nice woman’s name that told me to go to Quest & save the $2200 that would’ve been charged last week-making my grand total over $6000 for blood-work since September..
There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for the wonderful care we received this afternoon! From the initial greeting by the ER triage nurses, the volunteer offering goodies from the activity cart, to Dr. Susanne Griffith that gently stitched up our son’s forehead and the nurse that talked about his pet turtles to distract during the procedure....every interaction made our experience the best it could be! Our little patient is home and resting!
For the life of me I can't understand how a person can not get an appointment for 5 months...ridiculous

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
