List of Burton Heron's Reviews
Dr Heron appears to be a competent and friendly Doctor, however his staff is the worst I've ever experience, unprofessional, uncaring, was busy on the phone speaking to obvious family members. I needed some medication that the doctor prescribed, was supposed faxed to the pharmacy ASAP, but the pharmacy never received it, was supposed to have a CT scheduled but was unable to due to instructions from the Doctors Office to the CT scheduling department and they even contacted them to obtain information but could not due to incompetence, the scheduler advised she could not believe the unprofessionalism from that doctors office, if you wish to be treated good and wish to recover from ailments, do not go there until the doctor acquires new staff, highly not recommended, very frustrated overall and a lot of loss time.
My husband was late 4 minutes to his appointment and he refuses to see him. That Nurse will call us with the test results, it is not the same as you ask questions face to face to a Doctor. We have waited in his office for hours. This appointment was to get test result, what a waste of one month of see him etc. Very very disappointed.I will post his actions to every Media.
Excellent cardiologist , personable and good natured-Answers questions and explains things in ways a lay person can understand , cares about your treatment and is proactive in helping you achieve a healthy lifestyle change if needed ~ also the nurses and office staff are top notch, friendly and helpful !
He’s awesome!! My husband and I have been with him for years:) Recently my Husband was Hospitalized three times and came home with VNA care. He spiked 150/109 BP they called his nurse and no response!!! Still high I called the next day NOTHING!!! Again at the nurses visit they called. His nurse is the liaison person for the Dr!!! Can’t deal with sure insubordination so we are leaving the practice!!! There’s other issues with the office staff too many to comment on!!!
Office runs on time. Dr. Heron spent enough time with me to answer all my questions.
Outstanding smart ,and moves quickly to get results. Best doctor I have seen.
He killed my husband in Martin memorial hospital. Treated him over the phone. My husband never had a heart problem and was not brought into the er for heart. Another man was brought in by fire rescue for heart failure.
The front desk secretary was very nice and helpful. Dr Heron took the time to talk and ordered the cardiac tests I needed. However when I tried to go back and get my results I was told "we don't really take your Insurance, it's not very good" stated the nurse in the office. I have a PPO and pay $450 a month, but it's not good enough for this office.
I just love Dr. HERON.
Refused to return phone calls. Never called the POA or any family member when my father with dementia suffered a heart attack while being hospitalized for pneumonia. Failed to take any action or do any type of intervention. If we hadn't found out in time & had my father transferred to another hospital he may have died. Later he tried to lie his way out of it saying he had tried to call. A very bad doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
