Very rushed. Given a diagnosis and a prescription for some pain meds. Nothing was explained. A procedure is planned for later this month for an xRay guided injection and that was all the information I was given. I feel very uncomfortable with this. My husband who was with me felt the same way.

Very smooth process was taken right in taken care of quickly and sent away pleased...just hoping that my CT scan appt. is scheduled asap ..!!!

Dr Husted actually listens to you and looks you in the eye. While other Dr’s read from a chart and just move you in and out. If you need a reputable Dr that cares you found him! Thx Doc!!

Trust your instincts. If you are having changes and an increase in pain with numbness and your surgeon (Dr. Hustead) says everything looks good, get a second opinion. My new surgeon told me she is shocked my condition was never addressed and corrected. Had I not trusted my gut I could be paralyzed right now.

A year ago I had a serious problem with my finger and it needed to be operated on because it was sitting on a nerve and I was in extreme pain. At the time I saw Dr. Kam and he did a great job. All of the staff including the physical therapy staff at South Florida orthopedics are really nice and very helpful. Now I'm back because of a cervical neck herniation and I'm seeing Dr. Husted. He was very helpful and has already put me in the right direction so we can figure out my problem. I would highly recommend south Florida orthopedics to anyone.

I went to Dr Husted with very high expectations that he would be able to help me with my severe scoliosis, and he did not disappoint. He came highly recommended by a former patient of his, in a chance encounter, and by my chiropractor, Dr. Horne. I felt I was divinely guided to him. Being in my 60’s, I knew my condition would be a challenge, and I challenged him twice. I fell 2 weeks after my successful surgery. After closely monitoring my condition in the coming months, Dr. Husted knew he had to perform another surgery and strategize a new plan. His confidence level gave me the comfort I needed to endure this horrific surgery again. He pulled me thru thick and thin. Eight months later, life is good! Thank you Dr. Husted for giving me my life back.I also have to comment on his very competent staff. Everything runs like a well-oiled machine. They are always very responsive, helpful and professional.

Rashell was very nice made me feel comfortable and she genuinely cared. Dr Husted first impression was that he is through. When I first arrived I didn't sit long and the giving the front didn't make me feel rushed. Overall it was a refreshing experience.

Dr. Husted listens and makes his diagnosis after discussing symptoms with his patients. Then he describes the proposed intervention and the prognosis following the recommended procedure. Not the presumptuous egotistical diagnosis that most of us are used to getting because the doctor is onto their next patient while they are still physically in the room with you.
