Dr. Sharkey cured our son when no one else could. Our son kept getting strep throat. Other doctors wanted to take operate. Dr. Sharkey was great! He cured him with medication. I am happy to say that was when he was 7 years old. He is 19 now and still no strep. Thanks Dr. Sharkey.

Dr. Daniel Sharkey is the BEST!! I visited Dr. Sharkey after another ENT told me there was nothing he could do for me. Well, Dr. Sharkey explained to me in great detail what he could do about an infection I had in the outside of my ear caused by an old piercing, a surgery, not by Dr. Sharkey, & scar tissue. I'm not speaking in medical terms, but I had a canal that was full of a very foul smelling discharge through a hole that had developed. Let me tell you, it was a complicated in-office surgery. Dr. Sharkey not only did a GREAT job & got rid of all the infection, but he did it with such precision & always explained to me every step of the way what he was doing, putting me at ease. Dr. Sharkey is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever known!! If you need an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist, I very highly recommend Dr. Daniel Sharkey!! AND THAT OTHER ENT TOLD ME NOTHING COULD BE DONE!

Husband has limited hearing in left ear due to ear wax build up. Was told earliest I could see Dr Sharkey is late.12/2017. Told 30+ patients on waiting list because many want to use deductable before eoy. Patients sb triaged based on medical issue only. Shows no compassion.

I went to Dr. Sharkey for a throat clearing problem which I have had for about 15 years. I had seen numerous specialists and had numerous tests performed but no one was able to diagnose the problem until I saw Dr. Sharkey. After talking to him for a few minutes he said I had "Sensory neuropathic cough" and prescribed medication which began helping in a few days! Although not totally cured, I am estimating that the problem is 75% better after several weeks.

I was his patient for 3 years. On 4-7-16 he treated mold in my left ear. On 4-21-16 an audiologist at the VA clinic found an infection in the same ear, which was hurting me. She told me to return to Dr, Sharkey, to get an rx for medication. I went right to his office, but after an hour's wait, I was told that he and his nurse were too busy to see me. I was offered an appt with his nurse 8 days later. When I said that I was in pain, I was told to go to Urgent Care. No compassion, no exceptions!

He saved my life quite literally. Stage IV throat cancer. Surgery, Chemo and Radiation. Took my case on and moved me up to surgery right away. He already had a full morning of surgery booked. He had plans to take his family away that Friday afternoon. After already having a full morning of surgery starting at six am, he came to mine. I asked him if he had lunch yet? Softly, he said: no. i said please go and get a bite, rest a bit. he said thank you, patted me on the back and got a quick bit. Four and half, hours later my surgery was done. He was whipped. Chemo and rad followed. he encouraged me every step of the way. Even when i wanted to quit. He is a remarkable person and Doctor. I can't say enough good about him. if you have cancer in the head or neck stop! Look no further. Get Sharkey. He will see you through the hardest times he empathetic and he will cure you.
