Genon Wicina's Online Review Report Card

By far the best pediatric practice ever. The sick kid hours, the separate waiting rooms for sick kids and wellness-visit kids, the amazingly kind, personable, and professional staff, and Susan Bravo and Dr. Wicina in perfect synchronicity. They have cared for my son since he was very young, and they will keep him on as his primary care team until he graduates from college or turns 25-yrs. old. He was ecstatic to find out that he wouldn't have to find a new doc just because he turned 18, and we were ecstatic that he has such a great doc that we all trust to call upon if he needs something - even from Gainesville.To the poor mom who made such derogatory statements about them being unable to see her preemie, I understand how frustrating and stressful that would be. However, I also think that if my baby had been in that much distress, I would not have taken him to his doc's office to begin with; he would've gone straight to the ER. (My son was also pre-term - 6 weeks, as was I - 8 weeks. If it's any consolation, we both turned out pretty well.) Best wishes to you and your baby. :)

I would recommend Dr. Wicina and her entire practice to anyone in need of a new pediatrician in the Stuart Palm City Hobe Sound areas. The office staff are friendly and professional to a Tee. The nurses are kind professional knowledgeable and expedient. Finally Dr. Wicina and her Nurse Practitioner Susan Bravo are both exceptionally knowledgeable bright uptodate on all the latest data and best practices and always put the best interests of their patients above all else. They are straight forward and spend time answering any questions parents andor patients may have in a way that demonstrates respect and compassion while ensuring the information is not watered down in any way. They are not overmedicators who throw antibiotics at every little sniffle so your child will not develop resistance to important antibiotics for when they really need them. They also offers sickkid hours from 800900 every morning with no appointment necessary. Highly recommend

I have a premature newborn she's only 6 weeks old and hasn't been seen since she had to get admitted into the hospital a month ago she has only been seen once and that was three days after getting released... Her insurance was good for the first visit but didn't go through for the second I had to switch her to a different plan which didnt go through yet.. They refused to see my 6 week newborn with her being a premie and the breathing issues she is having after I begged them to see her just to make sure her breathing sounds right and her growth is ok and just bill me and they wouldn't.. I dont have the money to pay right now but they could of just billed me and they wouldn't even do that. They might be good doctors be good at what they do but they deffinitly dont put your newborns health first specially when that baby had complications, cause here I am scared and concerned for my newborn when they could of taken 15 minutes to check her out but they just tell me good luck instead. God forbid something is actually wrong with my 6 week old you refused a baby just cause you can cause you damn well could of least billed me till her insurance was in the system..

We have been seeing dr. Wicina since my first born was an infant. All of my children love doctor Wicina and Nurse Susan! This is a traditional medical office, not integrated, but they are very open-minded and listen graciously when I don't always agree with the more traditional approaches and want to try natural things first.

I absolutely love this place. I have never felt so comfortable and confident with the care of my daughter. The office staff is so kind, friendly, and accommodating. They are always quick to give a phone call back if you have a question. I love both Dr. Bravo and Dr. Wicina they are so loving, attentive to my daughters needs and Thorough. I’m so happy to have picked this place.
