George J Haas's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr Hass last week when he gave me a cortisone shot in my hip then followed up today with him. At this second appointment he argued with me about the directions he gave me at the prior appointment. In reflecting on the two visits, I realized he must have been giving me directions for no activity WHILE he was injecting my hip with cortisone! If you’ve never experienced that shot, it is painful. He got mad at me for not remembering what he said while I was under duress. He also curtly said he gave me a slip with the directions circled on it to which I said he had not. Upon returning home, I looked through my paperwork from the previous visit and confirmed he had not given me the slip. I cried on the ride home because he was so rude. This is the first time I have ever given a poor rating to anyone, but I felt compelled given he couldn’t even leave me with my dignity when I was in pain.

The doctor came into the examining room and introduced himself as George Haas. He carefully listened to my history. Dr. Haas showed me the X-rays that were taken and explained my problem in detail. I did not tell him that I was a retired Obstetrician/Gynecologist. He immediately gave me the diagnosis and prescribed a treatment plan. I've been seeing Dr. Haas for over 20 yrs. My husband and son as well. I remember telling him at one point that he could be our primary care doctor! He's very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation and plan of care. He has treated my son and husband for sports injuries much like myself. I had a visit today, it had been at least 3 years since my last visit and he remembered me and asked about my son. It's rare when a doctor takes interest in your family's wellbeing. I highly recommend the office and the staff.

Dr.Haas in my opinion is an excellent diagnosticion. He had pinpointed my problem quickly and treated me on the initial visit. Problem Solved

Professional, educational. Dr was able to diagnose and treat my issue after the PA I saw a week ago did not. Dr Haas was respectful and kind. Good bedside manner. Very pleased with outcome.

Dr Haas explained the reason for my pain, the X-rays and treatment plan. Said he would first treat the pain then show me how to avoid it returning. I felt very confident in his treatment plan and would recommend him to anyone

Yes, Dr Haas may be a man of few words, but he was able to figure the crux of the matter with the appropriate treatment plan. Sometimes in ortho injuries wether chronic or acute, the patient needs to put forth the effort it takes to heal or manage pain. Dr Haas has helped restore my quality of life.
