Be aware. In my two encounters with this doctor for my mother, I found him to be a very angry person. I thought it was my imagination. But after the second time in his presence, there was no mistake. He had no problem giving my mother a complete colostomy without first trying to save her bowels. My mother's life was changed forever. Then, unfortunately, he had to give her a hernia repair surgery which was a flop. Why we ever used him for a second surgery is ridiculous. Oh how I wish we went to someone else. What a heartache.

It took the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville 4 surgeries to correct this butchers work. ROLL THE DICE. I’m going on 3 years post surgery and it’s still not over. He has DESTROYED MY HEALTH.

Best gastro surgeon in the area. After many mistakes from other physicians. He saved my life. He stopped a colon bleeding that I suffered for 3 years with a procedure done on less than 2 minutes at his office. It is what I call a real professional. Thank you Dr. Ritterbach. Dr Rittersbach performed colorectal laparoscopic surgery on me in 2016. Diagnosis was accurate, pre-surgery explanation was excellent. He is a very caring and compassionate physician. He even called me on a weekend when I had a question. Surgery went very well and recovery was one of the quickest. No need for any other treatment after surgery. Four years and knock on wood, everything is great. I am at a loss for words to thank him.

He did a colorectal laparoscopic surgery om me in 2016. Explained in detail before surgery. Even called back on a weekend when I had a question. Surgery was flawless and recovery remarkably quick. No need for any other treatment after surgery. Four years and everything normal. I am at a loss for words to thank him.

I was diagnosed with anal cancer. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Rittersbach saved my life. He was the most caring and considerate doctor I have ever met. I am almost 71 years old now. My cancer was 25 years ago! Thank you so much, Dr. Rittersbach!!!!!

To the point -> DR. RITTERSBACH SAVED MY LIFE. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 02/2016, one week from my 70th birthday and it was recommended that I get surgery before Chemo. My wife, Joan, suggested I ask for Dr. Rittersbach, George, advised me that the surgery would be approx. 2 hrs,. He was on his feet for over 4 hrs, taking out cancer (laparoscopically) from wherever he found it. He provided me with pain pills, Didn't need or take ONE, I'm feeling great, totally cancer free since then.
