Best doctor i have had in all my years of having gastrointestinal issues. They go above and beyond to make sure I am cared for, and are dilligent about handling issurance issues, which is so important

This Doctor came highly recommended he did a scope down my throat into my stomach to check for why my stomach is burning all day for the past four months he was checking for H pylori he told me it was negative as it turns out he never suggested a stool sample for this particular infection which is bad so I took it upon myself to send the stool to a lab it came back positive for H pylori and C diffcile A and B had two virtual phone calls with him the second one he put his hands up and said I am at a loss after doing a lot of checking and talking and information that I gathered he should’ve had the stool test done I am sending him the results from the lab Monday morning it’s been six weeks to two months since seeing him no I am on four different heavy antibiotics to clear up the infections in me stomach burning round the clock it’s very hard to deal with no appetite do not eat much losing weight I feel like he just did not do the right thing

In a time where most doctors are just business people Dr Maunus actually cares about his patience.

Lots of excuses from this MD as to why he didn’t return a 8am “after hours call” on a Friday morning (my 3rd call) until 5:48pm, and provide STAT results on diagnostic testing from 2 days prior, when results were sent on 2/24. His office is closed on Fridays...you are on your own. Thank the heavens there's far more highly qualified GI specialists. .

I attempted to set up a colonoscopy with this doctor to no avail. I had a telehealth consultation with one of the doctor's assistants who told me that someone would get back with me to schedule the procedure. After a week, I had not been contacted by anyone in the office. I called the office and was told that the person responsible for scheduling was out of the office for the week and no one was aware of needing to schedule my procedure. After finally getting scheduled, I was told I would be receiving an email with prep instructions and other important info. Never received an email, after calling the office 4 times and being told someone would get right on it. Additionally, everyone in the office seems to have a rude attitude! I finally gave up and cancelled.What a waste of my time. I would not recommend this doctor based on the fact that this entire business seems to be unconcerned with serving it's patients.
