The best!
As someone who has spent a lot of time in countless doctors offices trying to find answers (like most patients who end up seeing a rheumatologist), I really have seen it all when it comes to good and bad doctors. After a single visit, I can tell you with confidence that Dr. Houri is hands down one of the most intelligent, competent, and caring physicians I've had the pleasure of seeing. He listened to my history and self-reports with full attentiveness, no judgement or ego, and has a truly compassionate and wonderful bedside manner. He asked good questions to try to get to the root of the problem (and find a diagnosis), came up with a plan, and was happy to explain his reasoning, which was well-thought out. He answered all of my many questions, and heard and clearly considered my concerns thoughtfully without dismissing me as troublesome or difficult. In addition to all of this, his office staff is equally pleasant, helpful, and kind, so from the moment you call to make your first appointment to the time you leave, you're never left feeling taken advantage of, not listened to, or like the people there thought they were doing /you/ a big favor by taking your money and shoving you out the door (which was my experience with my last rheumatologist-- there are so few of them, they often don't feel they have to put in this kind of effort). Do yourself a favor and make Dr. Houri the first physician you see, because these are rare qualities to find in a doctor and their staff.
I was referred to Dr. Houri after my Rheumatologist retired. I feel I could not have been treated better and thank you Dr. Gustafson for referring me. Dr. Houri is soft spoken, ask a lot of questions and even called me at home when I called back after my first appointment with questions.
I keep leaving a message for someone to call me back but since last week have not gotten a return call. Trying to make an appointment. Had to give one star in order to submit this.
Dr Houri is a very caring doctor. He tries his best to help at all times. He has been my dr for more than 12 years. The staff are polite. My only issue is the billing department doesn't get it right all of the time with my insurance. Otherwise, it's a well managed team.

Dr. Houri spends time and listens to his patients. Very caring.
Sympathetic Empathetic Knowledgeable Open minded enough to try new therapies A fantastic iffice staff caring
I met him today on my first visit he was a very nice man knew what he was talking about sat and took time with me I think he’s going to be a good one
My first visit with Dr Houri was not a warm and fuzzy feeling. Very little eye contact, not much of an exam, very little conversation concerning my health or anything else. I met one of the PAs and that is who I have been seeing. She is very thorough and seems to care about my health and my health needs. I certainly was not looking for a doctor with an outstanding personality but one who made me feel my health needs where his top priority. 2 stars for Dr Houri. 5 Stars for the PA.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
