The staff is not accommodating. My first chemo administration was a good example. I sat in the chair for one hour and 15 minutes before anyone attended to me. They drew blood and then another half hour to wait for results My goodness I the patient is not important. I watched others grabbing blankets. Apparently blankets are not offered by the nurses we cattle have to grab them before they are gone.

He has been my oncologist for 10 years. I could not ask for a more caring, compassionate physician. He is one of the best in his field. I am an RN and know many other RNs who have chosen him. Highest recommendation!

Dr. Wertheim is extremely capable and on top of his field. You can put yourself in his care and trust he will do everything possible in dealing with your specific medical condition. He is very detail oriented and his staff is absolutely impeccable in every way. Dr. Wertheim is not what I would call a hand holder; but if you want do be cured....he's the guy. I wish I could give 0 stars very unreliable he was around when things were okay but when we needed him he disappeared. I really questions his qualifications I checked his background it's not quite what he says it is. He talks better than he practices.

I saw Dr W for over a year as my chemo oncologist. Was comfortable, but felt he sometimes discounted my feedback. My bad fortune that my nsclc was only slowed by chemo and radiation. Then in Dr's clinical trial things got complicated. Dr had to walk back gloom and doom prognosis he'd made 10 hours earlier and blamed others for after reviewing all available data. Will not accept responsibility.
