List of Patrick Foley's Reviews
My initial meeting with Dr. Foley was better than I expected. He was warm, frieldly, informative and very professional. He outlined all options available to me, their pros and cons of each which allowed me to make an informed decision. I chose the operation. Dr. Foley outlined what to expect after the procedure, the dos and don'ts and how long to expect the discomfort to last. The operation was a complete sucess, and the after effects were minimal thanks to his skills in the operating room. My follow up meeting with him (today) was great and I'm looking forward to the day, 3 months from now, when I should be cleared to get back to the gym. I can whole heartedly recommend Dr. Foley for all your urology concers.
As a first time patient I was treated with respect. He spent a lot of time with me as I had a lot of concerns He initiated a quick action for my concerns, He also did immediate phone call follow up ..I would strongly recommend him.
I have been a full time patient of Martin Memorial/Cleveland Clinic for more than 20 years in Stuart and have always loved the service your physicians and nurses always provide. However, during a recent visit to your clinic, I was appalled at the condescending rudeness, disrespect and unprofessionalism demonstrated by Dr. Foley towards me during my examination. Four weeks ago, I developed a very painful sciatic nerve issue causing limited mobility and culminating with a trip to the hospital by ambulance; I was treated and sent home with several medications. Within the next few weeks I developed severe constipation as a drug side-effect and ultimately led to my problematic exam with Dr. Foley. From the moment he entered the exam room I was offended as he gruffly said, “What’s wrong with you?” No hello, no introduction, just “What’s wrong with you? Are you in pain now?” I started to explain that although I wasn’t currently in pain, I’d experienced 3 excruciating nights not being able to urinate; so painful, I’d considered calling an ambulance, but before I had finished, he rudely interrupted and basically ‘told me off’ saying, “You're not getting any sympathy here!” I was flabbergasted by his rudeness; I sure wasn’t seeking sympathy, only relief! Unfortunately, Dr. Foley was just getting started. He intimated that I and people like me were the cause of passing the virus around by needlessly coming to the doctor if you had no pain. He then performed a quick exam including a “very forceful” finger insertion and declared, “You are constipated; I can do nothing more for you.” Without saying another word, he turned and stalked out of the exam room. At 79 with type 2 diabetes, I prefer to stay on top of any potential medical problem and even though the last place I want to be is in a hospital during the Covid-19 situation, my symptoms had become intolerable. I wanted medical assistance, not insults. Everything about Foley’s attitude, speech, and lack of respect for his patients leads me to believe that Cleveland Clinic made a grave error in allowing this unprofessional person to represent them. Without a doubt, Dr. Foley is the most insensitive, arrogant, and patronizing physician I have ever met. I will strongly recommend everyone: family, friends, community, and business associates, to avoid Dr. Foley. THERE ARE MANY OTHER QUALIFIED PHYSICIANS THAT ARE NOT ONLY MEDICALLY PROFESSIONAL, BUT ALSO HAVE A KIND AND RESPECTFUL BEDSIDE MANNER.
I've been with him for 2 years now. He has a good bed side manner, he is thorough, great at his job, really listens to you and very easy to talk to. Plus I love his socks...lol I see him at his crawfordsville Indiana location. The rest of the staff that work with him are just as amazing and I love my medical team.
THIS DOCTOR SHOULDNT EVEN BE CALLED A DR, HAS NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER TOWARDS HIS PATIENT'S, HE WAS THE DR ON CALL THE NIGHT I MADE A CALL BECAUSE MY FATHER IN LAW HAD A CATHETER THAT WAS LEAKING AND CAUSING HIM ALOT OF DISCOMFORT, I WANTED TO KNOW IF I SHOULD WAIT TO BRING HIM IN TO THE OFFICE OR IF THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT I HAD TO TAKE HIM TO THE ER, THIS INCOMPETENT PERSON (CUZI CANNOT EVEN CALL HIM DR) TOLD ME "WELL IM NOT THERE SO I CANT TELL YOU WHAT TO DO, CALL MY OFFICE TOMMOROW IF YOU WANT TOO" MEANWHILE NOW MY FATHER INLAW IS ADMITED WITH AN INFECTION..I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU INFORM YOURSELF BEFORE SEEKING MEDICAL CARE FROM THIS PERSON..HE IS HEARTLESS, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL..GROSSEST PERSON EVER!!!
I went to visit this doctor with my elderly father who has been going through many health issues and the fist thing he says when he walked in was... weren't you suppose to see Dr. Beltran he speaks spanish I don't. That right there let me know that he was racist! In addition, he didn't even cared for the fact that my father had seen an urology at the hospital who already had a treatment plan. In the way he talks you could tell that you are a bothered and not a patient in need of a doctor. He seems to only care about the money he is putting in his pocket! This is not the kind of doctor you want to be treated by. Rude and careless!

I checked myself into the hospital because I suddenly developed a severe pain to the left side of my body. After the hospitals examination they recommended I go see a Urologist to review my situation. I chose Doctor Foley, but unfortunately I chose wrong. After a CT and MRI scan he informed me that I had developed prostate cancer and I needed to have a stint placed on the left side of my body and that I needed to go see a Oncologist to further my evaluations and treatments for the cancer. After Doctor Foley placed a stint on my left side I immediately developed a severe agonizing pain to the area where he placed the stint, so I called him and made an appointment to see him. He informed me that the pain was due to the cancer. I asked him if he would prescribe something to ease the pain and was told no. My question to you readers is this; What kind of Doctor operators on you and after the operation doesn't prescribe anything to ease the server pain that comes along with an operation such as this ? Now I know there's an epidemic of pain relief medications prescriptions haunting the medical establishment today, but not to administer something to ease the pain that is curtain to come with an operation such as this in my opinion makes you a Doctor that cares mostly about himself, and not so much for his patients, and for that reason I am forced to give this Doctor a lesser than perfect credit review.
Waited 3 weeks for appointments and they cancelled 1 day before my appointment and then told me they could reschedule in another month, I told the person I had infection and was in a lot of discomfort, did not matter and after reading the reviews, glad I am not going.
I went to see dr. Foley he was referred by Martin Memorial I found him to be cold and arrogant I went to him because I had a severe UTI as a matter of fact it was also discovered that I had bladder stones and kidney stones do UTI was wrecking my life I would have to go to the bathroom many times during the day and sometimes I couldn't make it to the bathroom I was forced to wear Depends which is something I never had to do I also was subject to horrible leg cramps I went back to his office this morning because I got called for jury duty I asked him to fill out a form excusing me because of my UTI which is causing uncontrollable urination I definitely could not sit for hours in a jury box his response was he didn't think it warranted being excused from jury duty I of course have since found a second urologist and then started to read some reviews of his and I learned that a lot of people have had horrible experiences with him I don't know anything about his qualifications I'm positive he's good at what he does but I will never set foot in his office again

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
