List of Richard Weisberg's Reviews
I met with two different doctors before I selected Dr. Weisberg’s to be my primary care physician. From day one the office staff and health care providers have been professional, caring and polite. However today I did not receive the same experience from the front desk office girl. From the moment I walked in the door she had an attitude. When I was checking in she said my appointment wasn’t until tomorrow. I told her I’m out of town tomorrow, so there is no way I would of scheduled a appointment for then. With a nasty attitude she replied “ well I don’t know what happened”. I asked if there was anything else available for today and she said no. She offered me to come in Friday and I was so mad about how unprofessional she was I just walked out. As I walked out the door she yells out her window “well I guess you just won’t be on the schedule”. I turned around walked back in and said excuse me. She took a deep breath and rolled her eyes and asked me politely if I could make Friday. I politely told her I was unable to come in Friday but thank you. As I walked out the door again I here someone ask “who was that” she yelled my name across the lobby as I was leaving. 5 mins after leaving the office called back to see if I could make a different time today. When I went back in 15 mins later to check in she wouldn’t even open the glass window or smile. She said “you can go and just have a seat”. Everyone else had to fill out a paper and get their temperature take. During this pandemic she wouldn’t even take my temperature to in sure the health of the clients in the lobby. When I went back to see the nurse practitioner all the other staff members were kind and courtesy.
Dr. Weisberg is a fine physician. I have Multiple Myeloma that required much testing. He took his time to read through pages of medical jargon and ask pertinent questions along the way. He made good recommendations. A very through exam. Highly recommend him and his office staff. A bright caring doctor.
My local GP of 20 yrs retired and a family member ( nurse ) recommended Dr. Weisberg. Really glad she did. Have seen both DR. W and Nurse Practitioner Lindsay Black and both are first rate in knowledge and listening/diagnosis/advice. Their prescription support has also been exceptional. I have 6 active, and their coordination with CIGNA/Express Scripts has resulted in fast service. In fact, at last visit, Nurse Practitioner Black resolved an RX order mistake that I had made and had it corrected and the correct RX ordered by close of business, same day.
They say that a doctor is only as good as his front end staff and if that is the case then Dr. Weisberg is woefully lacking. The staff is rude and dismissive. Their phone manner and attitude are horrible. I have yet to see the doctor but instead have been seen twice by his Nurse Practicioner, Jennifer who has turned out to be the only bright spot in an otherwise unfriendly and a hostile environment. If your looking for compassion with a caring and competent front end staff, Dr. Weisberg is not the doctor for you. Looking around for a new MD.
I really like visiting the office because I never feel rushed and always have enough time to get all my questions answered. The office staff is helpful with prescriptions and appointments. I have had telemedicine appointments and they went well as well.
HORRIBLE: I was on hold for over 30 minutes, never got past the 2 questions they asked; does my mother have Insurance & what kind? My 88 year old mother has extremely good Insurance, yet they never a$ked her name, ju$t inquired a$ to how'd they'd get $$$(paid). This Dr. may/may not be a good physician but the overt focu$ on $omething el$e wa$ obviou$$$$.
Would love to be able to review Dr Weisberg, but I'm never able to see him. I always have to see a nurse. The nurse turnover is high because no one enjoys working there. It recently took me 5 days to get treated for a simple UTI. I had to go to an urgent care to get treated. The front office staff has been rude on a half dozen occasions to me and also to my friends. We've all left over the past 2-3 years. I get random bills, then I'm told to disregard them. It's just sad.
I recommend seeing Lindsay Black she’s awesome!
Wow! Horrible 1st impression on the phone..what a shame to call a Dr.s office for an appointment and be treatedwith such disrespect. The woman who answered the phone, Yamie, Jamie, I'm not sure what it was..was the rudest person I've encountered at a Dr.s..I also work in the medical field and I have never and would never treat people the way she treated me..Staff is a big reflection on the Dr..Horrible , rude person! Needless to say, i will Not be making an appointment there..I will be sure to let others know how rude and unprofessional she was..
great doctors and assistants. well run office, never had to wait, highly recommend!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
