List of Sean Dakshaw's Reviews
I had to go to the Martin Memorial Hospital ER Jan 22nd of this year and was very happy with the excellent professionalism and quick service I received from Sean and the staff. They wound up getting me a CT scan and I was very satisfied with them. Personally I do recommend this hospital for efficiency and would and will use them again if the need arises. Sincerely, David DuHamel
Enough time was NOT spent to allow for sedative/pain meds to leave my blood stream so that I may grasp the upcoming spinal tap. He said he had 20 years in his ability to perform this procedure, which by the way, did not result as he had anticipated, He was unable to complete the spinal tap BUT RATHER caused more pain that I had at my initial need for emergency care. After his failed try, he bolted from the cubical to wnever return to say anything to me about his inability to fulfill his plan nor what to do. He did not provide me with discharge papers that indicated what had happened nor any reason for a referral other than to (routinely )see my PCP as soon as possible. Not only did the resulting pain happen prior to my release, but has continued for, now, on the third day. I have made an appointment with my PCP for an evaluation, diagnosis and a referral if needed. Truly,I question his expertise. N.B. He told me he had been doing this procedure for 20 years. This is 2014. He was graduated in 1997. That is 17 years. Hmmmm. Need I say more.
Spent more time joking with coworkers and talking about nonsense than giving patient care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
