List of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine's Reviews
Dr George Haas was a Friend from GHS and Knew he was an Excellent Specialist since his UF Med School Days Early 70s.. Last saw him in Aug 2008, fix back w/out Surgery or heavy Meds.. my 1st Epidural Shot lasted 9 yrs, got 2nd Shot in G-ville Oct. 2017.. Was able to play golf and shoot mid 80s until Cancer, & Food Tube limited Life..
The best atmosphere hands down! My son was super nervous about going to see a doctor because he's never broken a bone before. The staff from the moment we walked in made us feel so good, and so welcoming. Service is fast...so fast it shocked me me. Like who gets great customer service and at a fast and steady pace..THIS PLACE! Please don't hesitate to go here, I promise you'll enjoy the visit. Everyone is just awesome. Can't wait for our follow up😊 Dr. Moran is so patient, and was so understanding with my 9 year old. Broken ankle, but a smiling face😊
I arrive for my 830 am apt which I waited weeks for and they tell me they verified my insurance and have record of talking to me but the girl forgot to actually schedule the appointment. Even though the girl gave me my apt over the phone and verified my insurance they were not accommodating. I have never seen more incompetent staff.
Dr Husted is the worst!!! Walks into the room barely making eye contact then repeats his "speech" after every question and never really hearing what you are asking. After less than 5 minutes with us, he had not answered my questions and he tried to walk out and I had to ask him to wait a minute. No one should have to ask a question in 3 different ways to get an answer. This guy sucks and his reviews are proof. I wish we had seen these first! Go elsewhere if you value your dr patient relationship.
I've had Dr.Haas, Dr.Hoffman and Dr. Desman all treat me for different physical problems over the past 15 years. All three are the best doctors in the Stuart area as far as I'm concerned. Very experienced, competent and all three are no nonsense physicians.Dr. Haas is very experienced as are Hoffman and Desman so if you want to excellent care, those are your guys. The staff was very good and fast on my visits to both offices so no complaints. I've read some negative reviews that I didn't agree with. You must have patience and work with the staff not against them. They're trying to help you. Let them. You just can't beat this type of experience.
The MRI department is near impossible to get on the phone. Good luck getting any info or requesting anything before your appointment.
The technician who conducted my x-rays was awesome. She was gentle and caring. The person who took my information in the examination room not so much. Dr. Carlson came in, looked at my x-rays told me his diagnosis. Never once touched me to check my range of motion. He asked me if I wanted a shot. It was very painful. I could not move arm at all for two days. I was told to call for an appointment as needed. The shot removed skin on my shoulder. I had to treat for three weeks. A new doctor told me there should not have been any broken skin. This new doctor took time with me. I am having physical therapy and an MRI. I do not recommend. I don't like to give doctors bad reviews
They over charged me and for a month and half I been trying to get refund for my money and they not even return my calls, for a month no news about my MRI, doctor forgot to call my medicine to the pharmacy for 2 days, just awful place, stay away
Dr. hill I wish you had stayed in the room and watched the giant wave of pain that seized my entire neck, shoulder and throat. I wanted to tell you something was wrong but you ran out and told us to have a nice day. It felt like you walked out right when I needed you most. the cortisone shot in my sternoclavicle was level 10 pain, but the pain that came next felt immeasurable. It took 15 minutes after the shot for me to be able to move or talk. Had my husband dig in my purse for a tylenol, I didnt know when the vise grip of pain would end.. My visit started with me in pain at the front desk and a clerk ask me to move out of the line so she can take a co worker's temperature. Then she went on to ask him where he was going to get lunch and maybe he could get her order. Followed by, my doctor isn't dialed into his bedside manner and care, and who dosn't' answer my questions except for yes , no, IDK. and I am his new patient. folks not sure if this doctor and clerk where having unprofessionals days. BUt i will say this i know for sure dont get a shot in your sternocavicle. I never cried so much from pain even while going through two, natural, unmedicated, childbirth. I will need a new doctor im not having ptsd with this guy
I admit it, I am a relic of the past. I expect my doctors to treat me as an individual, to look me in the eye when they’re talking to me, and to lay out treatment options. I don’t expect my doctors to be 40 minutes late in talking to me, or to give me one treatment option because they know best. The former is what I expected the latter is what I received during my visit. Next!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
