Dr. Patten is an excellent chemist. I was having problems with my diabetes for years and was unsuccessful in getting it under control with other doctors. He worked with me and tried different methods until he came up with the right medicine combination and now my diabetes has been under control for the past 3 years. He listened to me and ensured that I understood every one of my health concerns.

My mom was a patient of Dr. Patten for several years. She adored him. In 2017, she died from cancer. Prior to being diagnosed, we visited Dr. Patten's office regularly because she complained of stomach and back pain regularly. He diagnosed her with a host of illnesses that lead to prescriptions, but did not solve her issues. We had to reschedule several appointments because of the wait times not to mention that he was always impatient with her or seemed distracted. A visit to the ER and a subsequent hospital stay finally lead to a gastrointerologist diagnosing her...stage 4! Dr. Patten was so much less than what my mom deserved. Don't work with the elderly if you lack compassion. He never sent a card or condolences. Thanks Dr. Patten! Mother was the patient.

You will not find a better doctor in the Atlanta area. Dr Patten is thorough, compassionate, kind, and caring. He will spend just as much time with as is needed and never rushes. Yes, you will most likely wait a very long time past your appointment time, but it is well worth it given how attentive he is. I cannot say enough good about him!

I was referred to Dr. Patten, This relationship lasted about 5 years. The relationship started out fine an he appeared as a Doctor who cared, as time increased the service decreased. Rude customer service from office staff. I posted a review and I then started to receive better service. After receiving better service I was asked several times to recant my REVIEW, since I didn’t I received a letter telling me I was no longer wanted as a patient because I wouldn’t follow his direction on meds.

This an great doctor who takes his time with patients and, from what I feel, is genuinely concerned about their well-being as well, as all doctors SHOULD be. His intuition, knowledge, and resources have helped bring me to a place of resolve after years of being in the dark. A courteous and professional staff are on board with him as well!
