List of Yubelkis Tinoco's Reviews
Dr. Tinoco is a consummate professional. She is articulate and knowledgeable, but also caring and considerate. She is an absolutely amazing primary care physician. I recommend her highly!!
Dr. Tinoco is an excellent primary physician. She has a calm, thoughtful demeanor and she is thorough. Highly recommend.
Dr. Tinoco is not practicing medicine for patient’s wellbeing. It is obvious to me that her main focus is money.I scheduled an appointment to see this doctor for medical clearance for eye surgery. The nurse practitioner (NP) was assigned to do the medical clearance. When I arrived there, an LPN did my vitals and an EKG. After that, the NP came and did the rest of the assessment. The NP reviewed my medications, asked me some questions, listened to my heart and lungs, checked my abdomen, and she told me that the EKG was normal and ended the visit on a positive note.A few days later, I received a call saying that I need to make an appointment to see Dr. Tinoco. I informed the caller that I was just seen by the doctor’s nurse practitioner.Being in the medical field, I know you can see either the NP or the doctor m, not the NP and the doctor. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary expenses, I declined to see Dr. Tinoco soon after seeing her NP. I said that I will see her in six months or so, which was the usual thing to do.However, she declined to refill my prescription unless I scheduled a visit with her. She didn’t even refill it partially for a short duration to give me time to see her or another doctor. If she cared about my well-being, she would have given me a full refill because her NP assessed me a few months ago, or she could have given me a partial refill to allow me time to schedule an appointment with her or another physician. So you see, Dr. Tinoco functions to make money by imposing a visit with her NP first, and then she wants an unnecessary visit with her just to make the money because her visit assessment and that of her NP is no different. In fact, it is well documented that the NPs are usually more thorough, caring, and compassionate than the MDs.She doesn’t care about patient positive outcomes. She cares about money in her pocket.
Very disappointed that my primary care physician of 5 years plus cannot simply order my breathing medications. Simple medications that have been around 40 years plus. Apparently which is something new to me with them they want to see you every 6 months at the minimum for medication renewal. Yet when you go there they don't offer to do blood work or any type of tests they just want you to go there for your appointment for their benefit and profit. You can never ever get through to a person on the phone. You leave messages, they say they'll get back to you that same day or possibly the next day and they never do. You have to call and call for any type of result. Very very disappointed with Dr Tinoco after all these years... And these are medications that are not addictive non problematic have been ordered and around the market for over 40 years without problem. I suggest finding a place that is more patient-friendly instead of staff friendly. Looking for a new doctor .
Truly the worst practice ever - from appointments to dealing with a doctor and staff that simply do not care. They can't seem to do anything competently. Take yourself and your family elsewhere if you care about their health!
welcome to Banana Republic medicine. They can't figure out the phone system let alone administer healthcare. Truly the worst doctor and staff ever.
She bought the practice from Dr Mendell, who I loved. Instant disappointment. No engagement, no respect for Dr Mendell and what he had done. More interested in profits for Martin Health than patient care.
Good listener. Very through.
I'm always on time for my appointments, she is never on time I even make them for first thing in the a.m. A patient's time is just as valuable as the doctor's I'm the one paying for the service. Thinking about looking for a new primary.
So ive been taking the same scrip for 4 years after my primary Dr. tried 2 or 3 different ones to treat stress finally found a small doze (5mg) of diazepan worked fine for me.I have been going thru right about 30 pills every six months. Unfortunately My primary dr left Martin Health and i was forced to take another primary who wound up being Dr. Tinico.I explained to her my low dose, low useage valium was working perfect for me for past several years and asked her to just renew my scrip.... first refill in 9 months. She explained that the goverment is “watching” many of the scrips now and she could not refill that scrip.Instead she gave me an antidepressant (which i dont need) to take EVERY DAY rather than my valium as needed.I can understand if i had a history of over using my scrip, but in 4 years, i have used less than a years worth because i take it as needed. This Dr. is not about her patients and i would not recommend her to anyone.I hate to use the word idiot but her attitude is idiotic.AVOID DR TINOCO!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
